I'm a little late to this thread, but that's a great conversion Mitch. Might be your best winter repaint from what I've seen you do on here in my opinion.

Using another Tunisian Tiger I picked up recently I always wanted a 1/30th tiger in the format of the tiger that wittmann celebrated his 88th kill in all AFV's he had been in and, recieved his knghts cross. so, a removal of the old DAK markings was done a new coat of dunkelgelb and, a few layers of winter white which, was then removed here and there and, we have S04 which, were heavily photographed by the german propaganda ministery. The kill markings were made on the computer and, the barral was painted black where they were placed to get the effect.

I took moulds from another tiger for the tracks for the turret and, gave it a light weathering. I don't believe this tiger had an air recon flag but, as its molded into the turret nothing that could be done about that. I do like this tiger as its a decent version and, can be easily worked on.

Thanks for the comments. Duke you may be right I was quite pleased with the way it turned out trying to follow black and white WWII pictures is always a problem so, they only help so far and the rest is just guesswork how a tank may weather after being in the field. These Tigers are a real pleasure working on just got to get another one for a plain grey repaint and I am done!!!!
