Thanks Steve, yes so far the bridge has seen Romans, Rommel and now LH. Can see many more of my series using this crossing this year. Jakob has done one nice bridge for me. Robin.

This bridge is so versatile Robin, another well done scene mate and I like this pic the best.

Great looking scene Robin. Love the bridge by Jakob and love all the troops on horseback.

Congrats on the bridge scene.....:salute:::salute::very nice...
The Light Infantry fits in very well indeed, I suspect that the same scenery could be used for at least a dozen more dioramas and even some nice fighting over the bridge.
You were very fortunate on the choice of bridge style so as to give you many options...

Opsss....my bad
Made the same mistake the famous General Saunders did in Megiddo ( guess I got the right one! ) mistaking the Light Cavalry as being Light Mounted Infantry and that cost him the Beersheba line.....
There is even a great movie called Lighthorsemen that reproduces in a fantastic way how the Lighthorsemen are instructed to charge the Turkish lines ..... The great part is that they were used time and again as mounted infantry by Top Brass so they no longer carried lances or sabers...so they charged with their bayonets....:):)....well lucy enough those standard bayonets were still long.....not the little stubs of nowadays....{sm4}{sm4}
Cheers
Luiz

Robin;

That is really a lot of nice figures, making great use of the bridge !

The figures turned around, looking back, give the scene some great animation & life.

Thank you.

Great scene Robin. Particularly like the angle of the last photo. The mass of horse troops is impressive and so many different poses, non-repetitive. Very well done. Chris

I think that bridge has had that much traffic over it , you might have to check the foundations for wear. Joking aside, all have been great dioramas enhanced
by that superb piece. I liked the Roman scene in particular and no doubt you'll want to get your hands on some of those TG war elephants to further test that bridge. Regards Greg.
