Yes you Freighter looks good Robin, Can we expect a Nazi U-Boat to pop up like in the first Indiana Jones movie !
If so they may have trouble with a sleep walking Mummy !:tongue::wink2:

So cool, Robin. Your dio continues to tell a story. While the freighter is amazing, I enjoy all the little details including that JJ Model T laden with ancient Egypt artifacts. What a fantastic era of exploration and discovery that you have rendered in miniature quite well. I'm hoping to get a few new pieces before Easter Sunday so that I might play with my Tomb of the Mummy over the weekend. Great stuff made even better by your creative combinations.

I can take care of that one.^&grin

Thank you everyone for your supportive comments. One more to go on this theme, like you Rob, I am waiting for the latest AE to complete the story. In the past I have used this freighter to carry my Aussie Light Horse, so it’s nice that it gets a second airing with roughly around the same era and location. My local model maker has excelled himself with this one, very pleased with the final result. Looking forward to getting some inspiration from your next dio Rob. Robin.

Carter's precious cargo is checked aboard. Robin.

Carter ensures every last artefact is stored in the ship's cargo hold for the long voyage ahead. Robin.

Impressive also inside the boat. And I love that there are no uniforms and not a combat scene...Lately, I love situation dioramas, not combatants

Urgent despatch......'Golden Light' overdue to dock in England. Unconfirmed rumours, vessel possibly high jacked by unknown parties. Robin.

Now everyone knows where the sudden disappearance of toilet paper everywhere originated ! :tongue::rolleyes2:

Love it Robin; those pesky mummies are at it again. Have to agree with Steve; helps explain some of the TP shortage. {sm4}

EDIT: I esp. like how you arranged the cargo hull with the various treasures. Too cool!

The intensity of the Zulu assault is only now being realized by the British forces. Robin
