21st July 1942, Japanese forces begin to land on the Northern coast of New Guinea at Buna and Gona. In the subsequent days to come on their trek to Kokoda village, they encounter strong resistance from the 39th Australian Infantry Battalion and the Papuan Infantry Battalion. Robin.

Being 21 July was the 80 year anniversary, appropriate to start my Kokoda foray, so thanks guys for your comments, always appreciated. Steve this is my aircraft carrier, which I use for both Japanese and American, the mummy is on my steamer boat. Robin.
