Hey Robin mate,
Nice Lighthorse dios. Interesting to see that the LH have taken over James and his fishermen buddies boat.^&grin^&grin Getting a camel in and out of that boat would be something to behold.:smile2:

Situated in Walmington-on-Sea's High Street, the tea rooms are where Mainwaring and Wilson frequently go for their morning break, indulging in a cup of coffee and some rich tea biscuits, unless it's Tuesday, when they opt for rock cakes, fighting over the one with the most fruit. Before the war, afternoon customers could sip their tea or enjoy one of the tea rooms' delicious buns, which were filled with cream on the premises, while listening to Miss Rowlands and her friends entertain with a little light music, a musical treat that was well-received by older patrons. But those days have gone and now, in the event of an invasion, the tea rooms would double-up as the Home Guard's advanced headquarters, because the property is near the Novelty Rock Emporium and Stones' Amusement Arcade, the stretch of coastline patrolled by Mainwaring and his men. Mainwaring describes the tea rooms as a typical English setting and whenever he's there it's difficult to imagine there is a war on. Robin.

Private Joe Walker changes for parade and is heading out to St.Aldhelm's Church Hall. He runs a stall on Saturdays at the local market and is a wholesale supplier. A black marketeer who used to smuggle brandy from France before the war, Joe regularly supplies goodies to the rest of the platoon. He trades in everything from women's silks to cricket balls and although he's not afraid to exploit a situation for his own benefit, he's also kindhearted and occasionally makes scooters for children in Eastgate Hospital. Joe's business address is in Slope Alley where he rent's a couple of old garages at the bottom of Sid Newman's yard, but he's known to have other stores dotted around the area, where he keeps his essential supplies. Robin.
