This would have to be the longest sunset in history..........
Yes by now Sammy probably has all the FL stuff and is now collecting Baseball cards as well!
Rob
I hope Andy will forgive me this once!
Sammy I hope you are very happy in collecting FL.I also very much agree with you about keeping it light.I obviously totally disagree with Vezzolf re Toy Soldiers but we can do it in an non insulting or argumentative way,I for one do not go onto other producers threads to trumpet K&C,K&C don't need that.
Hope you visit here often Sammy,am about to start work on pt2 of my D Day dio and as a D Day enthusiast will welcome your opinion when finished
All the best
(I hear FL are doing a 'Stalingrad' Tiger!.Should be cool!)
Rob
look forward to your pics on part II of your d-day dio, have you looked into the beach matts from Build-a rama?? they look sharp, hopefully there will be plenty of D-day releases this year to add to your collection.
hope First Legion does a Tiger at some point, think it would be a great to add on to thier list of really nice vehicles...Sammy
This is a neat idea. Someone (probably a company executives kid) will get a REALLY valuable card. I never had a 52 Mantle but I had almost all the other Mantles that didn't cost as much as a car. Gave the 1960 card to one son, the 1969 to the other, and kept the 1968 for myself. Lest you all think the son with the 69 card got stuck, he also has the Maris signed baseball. Sold all the other cards to finance, you guessed it, toy soldiers. Hobbies are great, but as an adult, they are expensive. -- AlWow a 52 Mantle will sell a lot of packs. I have a 56 and would love to own a 52 but who can swing those sort of prices.
Dave
Sammy,
Have you heard that Topps is running some special promotion this year, where they are randomly mixing in old cards into packs, including a 1952 Mickey Mantle.
