Inspired by how much I'm enjoying Mikemiller's multi-shot JJD postings,I

Best,John (with regrets for the miraculous sky writing in pic 2-yes I did retrace the whole route recropping, delete & replace at photobucket, and back to Treefrog whereupon pasting find the old version set in stone)
John,
Well I for one think it looks fine as it is, the figures look just grand in this display.
Jeff
John,
These look wonderful. Seeing the time of post, was it a full moon out for the shots? They look like they are travelling by moonlight!

Do you order TA direct from England? There are US sources available:
Toy Soldier Shoppe (Wisconsin)
Green's Collectables (NJ)
Randy
Dear Dear Bear,
These (& 8 or so other 37th Monro's Figures) are from Paul Herrmann of The Toy Soldier Shoppe-Wonderful & very knowledgeable man to deal with & a great pleasure to chat with.

This lot of Jacobites came to me via Al Green,a similarly wonderful and knowledgeable gentleman.

If I were wealthy or indeed had any income worth mentioning,I'd certainly have orders in simultaneously with every dealer I'm aware of. My first Tommy Atkins purchase 7 or 8 years ago was directly from the Turners ,and I've been absolutely thrilled with every one received since.

This is what threw me off:
This week brought two new 37th Regt.Gren. Coy. figures from Gosport
Jeff,You're not off, those figures DID come directly from the Turners,at least 85% of what I've collected over the years has been ordered from Tommy Atkins in England, & more recently won on eBay from Tommy Atkins.
These Dealers you mentioned provided superb transactions,it nevertheless remains my preference to deal directly with the Makers myself.

John
For some reason you keep calling me Jeff
Randy
I'd appreciate it if all of you Jeffs would settle down, especially the big furry maundering white one
Best,Jeff Malkovich
(Malkovich ? Malkovich! Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich )
Surely someone's seen "Being John Malkovich" ?
Well,Jeff, you at least are reasonably likely to accurately addressed (though I'm fighting spelling it G-e-o-f-f-)
here then are a couple from the cutting room floor...

this second demonstrates that building your blockhouse over near running water may cause the foundation to shift

Ah!
Kilts and bagpipes in the morning...smells like victory!
Nice job John, and I love the blockhouse fort.
You must have been the only one to see that movie!
Mike
John
Great photos and figures once again to feast our eyes upon.
Ydnar
Thank you,Ydnar, for your VERY kind words-I thought the figures looked good anyhow.
I'm hoping for some Wm. H pics for the inauguration of the new forum![]()
