Trophy ACW (2 Viewers)

005.JPG007.JPG008.JPG013.JPG015.JPG Martyn: You have a great figure but I am not sure yours comes with a downed horse. Here is my ACW23ELT two piece set. The base is longer and includes a drum. I have included my soldier figure like yours for comparison purposes. Also note yours has a red star which is correct but mine do not. Tommy

I'm pulling for the Italian guy from New York.:wink2:

I've always said all the tough Italians moved to Brooklyn around 100 years ago{sm4}.

It is a great looking set and dovetailed nicely with Martyn's set.

Did Trophy ever make a parade version of the Garibaldi Guard (standing at attention or marching? If so, I will have to keep an eye out for one. Tiro A Segno, the club at which we hold the opening dinner for the New York Symposium each March, was founded by Guiseppe Garibaldi in the 1860's (he was living on Staten Island at the time), and, in the Charles Rao Library where we have drinks before dinner, there is a letter from Garibaldi commissioning the club.:wink2:
