Those zulus show a lot of anger in their eyes. Great to see them sneaking up from behind the poor brit. You get the same feel with CE Fripps painting.

I really enjoy the H2H series. I wish I had more of them. They really do get expensive. The quality of the painting is tops. Not to mention these are some of the first sets that I got from my dad.

Len did a nice job in providing them and I was lucky to get them at a good price at the time, nice gifts from your dad. The figures are from his later sets with their ground finished bases. Look like this Colour-Sergeant Joachim is soon to meet the same fate as his fellow members of 1/24th....The Lt.

Offering a helping hand to a fallen friend is soon to cost this private of 1/24th his life along with his mate.....The Lt.

This member of the 1/24th has no intention of giving up his life alone....The Lt.

Hi LT

Just curiosity, quick question from my husband. These latest photos of Trophy figures don't look quite like the Trophy Miniatures of Wales figures hes is used to seeing. Are they by any chance Trophy of Texas (we think that is the right name) ? The sculpting doesn't look quite like the other zulus and 24th foot in his collection.

Bobby all of the figures you see are Throphy of Wales figures. All of the Trophy figures from Trophy of Texas came from Wales.......The Lt.

Hi

Thank you for the quick reply! I have already passed on the information. My husband is totally bonkers about Trophy figures. Although I have a couple of my own I mostly collect other makes.

Thanks

Trophy of Texas is or was the American retailer of Trophy of Wales products. Those figures the LT has posted are all Trophy of Wales Hand to Hand sets. They were some of thelater sets Trophy produced. There were some stylistic changes in the figures over the years but they are definitely Trophy.
Regards
Damian

The scenic bases and facial details in particular are different in the later figures.
