Another enjoyable picture. It looks like a couple of mounted NNC are there also.

Does anyone know which, if any, personalities are depicted in TD1 Battle Strategy, and if there are different versions?

The first TD1 - Battle Strategy set did not have any personalities named with the set. When it was rereleased as TD1A, with different figures to the original set, it included Col. Richard Glyn and Lt Col Redvers Buller

Thanks for clarifying that. I thought Redvers Buller was one of the figures and have always been a bit confused as to how Glyn and Buller got together to discuss battle strategy when they were in different columns and fought in different battles in different places!- unless it refers to Ulundi?

Very impressed by the photos in your profile section by the way- a fantastic Trophy resource which I have referred back to umpteen times. :)

ZS54 - John Dunn Scouts "Special"

A trader named John Dunn had become very friendly with King Cetshwayo, the Zulu king allowed him to own a large farm in Zululand adjacent to the Lower Drift of the Thukela. Just before War broke out in December 1878 he left Zululand and crossed to Natal. He brought 150 of his Zulu workers with him and they fought on the side of the British during the Eshowe relief expedition in March 1879

Cheers

Martyn:)
