Both the US and Israel have launched missile strikes against Iran this evening and Iran has retaliated in kind……
Operation Epic Fury
Great to see America coordinating operations with Israel to bring peace to the region.
47 years ago Iran savagely took innocent hostages via the US Embassy.
Ever since then they have terrorized the region.
Revenge is a best dished that is served cold.
How are the people of Iran going to take advantage of this opportunity? If they take to the streets they’ll be murdered in the thousands like they were a few weeks ago. Bombing from the air is not going to change the regime. To do that you’d have to send in ground troops. If you want to start a major land war in Iran, then start up the draft so everyone has skin in the game not just the small percentage of citizens that volunteer for the armed services. This has been a long time coming. Iran has sponsored terrorism and been a source of disruption for fifty years. They have murdered thousands of their own citizens. Unfortunately, no one other than Israel and the US will bear the burden of this task. The rest of the world will do nothing except criticize once there are inevitable civilian casualties. Hopefully the people of Iran take advantage of this opportunity.
Regime change has already happened. The Ayatollah is dead. His loyalists are dead or in hiding. The people of Iran have their chance. Maybe they will take advantage of it and maybe not. What do you think should be done? Nothing? Just allow Iran to murder their own citizens, build a nuclear weapon, and sponsor terrorism around the world? Are you hoping this fails? How are the people of Iran going to take advantage of this opportunity? If they take to the streets they’ll be murdered in the thousands like they were a few weeks ago. agreed...if you had 12 bullies at school taking your lunch money everyday...and the leader was transferred to another school...the problem is not solved...How are the people of Iran going to take advantage of this opportunity? It's a start...and I'm not hoping it fails...he needed to be removed...Regime change has already happened. The Ayatollah is dead. His loyalists are dead or in hiding. Regime change has happened? So who’s in charge now? Probably some other Islamic fundamentalist nut. You can drop as many bombs from the sky as you want but the same regime will still be running things.Regime change has already happened. The Ayatollah is dead. His loyalists are dead or in hiding. on tv...they are showing huge celebrations in the streets in Iran...so the Iranian people are on board with this...I believe what happened today was a result of Iran's actions and doing. They have never I mean ever in my lifetime come to a negotiation table without a unilateral Death To America and Death To Israel mantra. They just have not and I am talking about their leadership, not the Country. That said, until that leadership is somehow removed, they are powerless. Should anyone forget, I think 15 years ago they held elections and when the Ayatollah didn't like the result, they changed it. Again, if the general public cannot remove their leaders, they need outside help and the reason they got it was because Iran is a direct threat to United States interest. Fact - they are the largest Sponsor of terrorism the world over. Fact - they are and continued to try and build nuclear weapons. Fact - they have and continue to launch all kind of attacks against US interests. Fact = I don't care who our President is, IMO, keeping Iran in check by any means necessary is the best answer for US Citizens. Personally, I don't like people who wish my death on a daily basis.
The leadership in Iran are/were not good people, why do you think nearly all of the Middle East is against them? It is one time when you see strange bedfellows unite against a worse enemy. The old Persian Empire - remember history.
NOW - I don't disagree with what could happen next. It could be another nutjob seizing power. Here is my hope - they have an internal revolution and the democracy that does exist in the background comes alive. I do believe they would receive a lot of help the world over if they can only seize the moment.

Yup, I hope it works too. I hope the job can be finished.on tv...they are showing huge celebrations in the streets in Iran...so the Iranian people are on board with this...
Israeli Intelligence has always been touted as one of the best in the world...I think they can find where the leading contenders are...
perhaps there will be a targeted execution of the Ayatollah's son who is next in line...followed by the senior clerics...
I'm not on the fence about this...this could finally bring peace to the Middle East...
