US/Israel Launches Op Epic Fury Against Iran (3 Viewers)

while we can destroy any person, jeep, wagon or bicycle in Iran...

If nothing else, at least you've made me laugh during this absolute pooshow between the raft picture, the Stevie Wonder crack and this gem............."And here is today's SITREP; we took out 10 more missile launching sites, another general or two, two chickens, a goat and a wheelbarrow. Iran can't last much longer at this rate.

"And here is today's SITREP; we took out 10 more missile launching sites, another general or two, two chickens, a goat and a wheelbarrow. Iran can't last much longer at this rate."

I shouldn't be laughing...but Al Capone is...

I'm old enough to know when I'm being played.

After the Iran - Iraq war 1980 -88, Iran has had a long time to build up their war stockpile and dig plenty of holes in the middle of nowhere and not just to bury the estimated 200,000 dead Iranians, with another estimated 500,000 wounded and disabled because their ideology cares little as they have their seventy two virgins waiting at their demise that they call paradise.
When you got that level of indoctrination and willingness to die, you've got a hard task in front of you.

That huge gift that Trump said Iran gave us...

was allowing 10 of their oil filled tankers to pass through the Straight of Hormuz...

which put another $200 million in Iran's coffers...
As a follow up to this, I ran this past my egghead Penn grad Trump ballwasher cousin who's at the Geek convention in Boston, his reply;

"It's a peace offering so that when they collapse from within, we don't inherit a Persian parking lot."

So there's your answer Mike; whether you buy what he's selling is another story.

Because I do not.

Apparently the IRGC isn't what you would think as made up entirely of Iranians, and while those are the majority, there are also significant numbers of Pakistanis, Afghans, Iraqi, Syrian, Lebanese and others.
Quite a mixture !
Reminds me of the various nationalities in the fanatical SS with their shared racial hatred of Jews rather than the French Foreign Legion.

I worry that if we put boots on the ground we will start to see videos of our Marines or Paratroopers being hunted by Iranian FPV drones. “Ukrainian War porn” has left me haunted by the faces of Russian soldiers right before the FPV drone explodes. These videos seem to be ubiquitous and I would expect that the Iranians would post similar videos of American soldiers for propaganda purposes. I wouldn’t want an American mother or father to see that look of resignation/fear/terror on the face of their son or daughter. Consequently I sincerely hope that we can find some way to quickly end this war without having to use ground forces.

Feels like WWIII is beginning. Trump keeps backing down little by little. Today's generation in no way has the courage or the willingness to sacrifice like the generation of WWII. Myself I'm willing to pay more for gas rather have nuclear missiles fly all over the place. But yet something doesn't feel right.

Certainly more regional conflicts which could overspill particularly around Irans borders with Afghanistan and Pakistan forces over local disputes
Which effects China's land route into Iran through Pakistan, so lots of opportunities for mistakes with so called aid convoys covering arms shipments if attacked with accusations of false flag acts flying in all directions confusing the matter more and the possibility of escalation further.

I read the Houthi's in Yemen are now trying to distance themselves from Iran and saying that iran are trying to drag them into the war.
Not very long ago they fired a missile at Israel, but if one was to take that at face value, then it would assume Iran to have control of the missles that have been coming from there.

We certainly don't have any allies. There needs to be a major reassessment of the money the US spends to defend Europe and much of the world when they will do nothing on our behalf or even their own behalf. The long term sacrifice of doing nothing and allowing these terrorist fanatics to get a nuclear weapon will be much greater than a few casualties in this conflict even as terrible as any such deaths are. Does Trump have the backbone to do it? We will see in the next week. He will either capitulate and spin this as a victory, or he will finish the job. The US can send Iran back to the stone age if they desire.

George...agreed...I mentioned the Straight of Hormuz weeks ago...even before it became a news issue on tv...

I'm not military strategist...but if I could see this coming...

Who missed it?

Who is in charge?

Trump...Hegseth...Stevie Wonder?

If Iran keeps striking other countries oil production lines...this could really get worse quick...
Stevie Wonder:giggle:🤣🤣🤣...That one made me laugh. Great singer though!

With all due respect, I think the only direct threat Iran did pose was to Israel. I fully understand their position. But to Europe? Or the US? Do you really think they would nuke Europe or the US? They are not that stupid, unless they get desperate under attack. Allies? Like in Greenland:giggle:?

What I think justified some kind of intervention/pressure was the Revolutionary Guard international destabilizing intervention in the Middle East. But this is not going to make it, I guess. Hope I am wrong, because this regime really needs to go, especially because of what they do to their own people.

Or the French Foreign Legion; when they were getting overrun at Dien Bien Phu, some men were speaking German, no doubt former SS soldiers. My egghead Penn grad head Trump ballwasher cousin claims they were officers; pretty sure officers in the FFL are French ONLY, but there's no point trying to argue with him over it.

You don't think nuking Israel might also be a concern for the US and European interests? It's only a concern for Israel? That might be something worth avoiding. Is N. Korea only an issue for S. Korea? Maybe we should abandon them as well. And Ukraine. And Taiwan. And everyone threatened by China. Of course if Iran gets a nuclear weapon, they already have missiles to deliver those weapons to far ranging locations. What then? Doing nothing to prevent that is not an option.

Doug...how do you see this playing out...do you have a plan...I respect your opinion and am curious...what would you suggest?
