Hi Guys,

Like some of the “posters” I’m also very interested in the “Vietnam era”… and not just the American experience… A few years back K&C designed some French Foreign Legion paratroopers and infantry for HACHETTE, a major publisher in France… I believe they did very well in France.

Here’s the age-old problem however… how do you fit a major (and I mean major) new series into a production schedule that’s already tight as a drum.

But… OK let’s say somehow we did then… we’d get a whole big bunch of, “Why have you started a whole new series when you’ve not given me/us our extra add-ons for our favourite existing series?!!?!”

Plus, of course, there’s also…” K&C are releasing too much I can’t keep up… there’s too much choice!!!”

Whatever we do… or don’t do it’s impossible to keep “all of the people happy… all of the time!”

Oh well… back to the saltmines.

Best wishes and happy collecting!

P.S. But as I also like to say… “You never know… one of these days…”

French Indochina!

Music to my ears... if not a series... just yet... maybe some more collectors club figures? 'Bruno' Bigeard maybe? Would probably also do well with the French collectors.

Guys,do you think,is it posible to make HU1H Huey from polyston???
mario

Don't see it as an interesting range and, if it detracts from the other established ranges then it would be a blow IMO. Many get excited at the thought of this or that well, in the poll 43 but, what andy did not say which, he did with the pacific was would it be a seller??? not to sure how popular it would be in europe and the UK and, profit is a consideration

King&Country Makes a "Lot" of great products. With the available selection of items at any one given time their catalog of items is always very large and extensive ! I guess like the old saying goes "You can't please all of the people all of the time" ! On the other hand it surely does not hurt to voice our wishes as collectors for new releases down the pipeline.

Andy,

Do a Strictly Limited Huey. That has always been a long requested item that is often discussed. I don't know if you can replicated it in poly, but maybe add metal rotors or some composite. I have a 1/32 diecast version but would love to have a slightly larger one!

I am currently enjoying the excellent book 'Matterhorn' by Karl Marlantes. Would love to see a new Vietnam era US Marines line!! I can see this book being made into a film very soon.

Also interested in some Dien Bien Phu French paratroopers..........

Interesting, I would love some additional figures, vehicles, for that series.

I think it is often overlooked by collectors due to it's early, limited release.

Let's hope we see something in the future!

Although I only collect WWII, I would certainly buy a new Vietnam series. There is something about it that is completly addictive. This was the far away war I saw on TV as a child on the nightly news, that was over 36 years ago, and I just feel it would be fantastic to have the K&C quality and creativity launching U.S. soldiers, AFV's, NVA's, vietcongs, choppers (yes, there coudn't be a Nam range without choppers - not having them would be like WWII without panzers...). As Andy said bellow, this cetainly is not a turn-key action, but I hope that sometime in the not so distant future it will be in K&C's best commercial interests to go ahead withit.
