Walking Dead, Season 4 (3 Viewers)

I hope it goes back to be about "The walking dead".
I reckon they might not be on the menu but for research into a cure maybe.

Wayne, the book's creator will tell you the the " Walking Dead ", are the humans. Also, during the run, did anyone notice hearing the pleas for help coming from the stack of containers, they passed by..? Michael

..and the pile of human remains.

I really enjoyed the episode. I wonder if the buried weapons will still be there when they bust out of the boxcar.

They were missing them on purpose, basically firing in a way to herd them to the spot they wanted them to end up as afterall, if they killed them, they couldn't eat them later on now could they.

Can't wait for Carol and Tyrees to show up and save the day..............six months later...........

Before Rick entered the box car he noticed there was baby powder milk cartoons on the floor - so maybe Carol and Tyrees (and baby) are already captured and in the other box car???

Also where is Beth?

That many candles and slogans on the walls of one room can't be good.

"They’re screwing with the wrong people." was a pretty good closing line for Rick.

Untangling the secrets of Terminus promises to be interesting and will take several episodes but I hope it doesn't turn into another season long effort like life at the prison turned out to be. I just fail to see the group being able to settle down and maintain the show at the level of excitement that is necessary. A journey to DC to get the supergenius to the proper authorities could be interesting. -- Al

Yeah if he doesn't become a blue plate special.{eek3}

These are all valid points. One of the things I liked about this season was shifting story lines following different groups after they scattered like sticks in the wind once the prison was overrun.

I see them taking over Terminus, with a main character dying in the process, then hitting the road to DC and seeing the series of adventures that unfolds in the process.

That said, if the series gets stuck in neutral while they flounder in Terminus, that will be disappointing............

Remember, there is a new Zombie companion series due out in 2015. It is not likely the present cast is going anywhere as popular and necessary to the present series. On one of the WD forums, the Rick actor is supposed to have tweeted..the Termites ( Terminus gang ) are going down...Michael

Great to have you here as our go to guy for all things zombie and walking dead, keep up the great work Michael.

Companion series; I like the sound of that...........

Ugh we have a long time to wait for next season. I'm already having comic book men commercial withdrawals. I kick myself when I forget to DVR the show and have to watch those endless AMC commercials and promos. There was a time when AMC had no commercials. Then they made a big deal about having one commercial break during a movie. Now the commercials are longer than the shows. I refuse to watch anything on that channel except WD.

I think that is endgame material. Like my idea that someone find a Porsche dealership and nix all the walking around to speed things up. AMC is milking this for all it's worth. If they ever figure out what happened with the zombies, it's show over. AMC also appears to be milking the budget with a lot of episodes that involve little except walking around in the woods. I expect 3-6 episodes set in the badly distinguished Terminus/universal studios tour backlot.

Good point about the location shooting. I'll bet most of the last several episodes were all shot within a few yards of each other around those railroad tracks and same backroad. Abraham had the right idea with the deuce and a half. -- Al

I hear the new show may be set on the west coast.I thought AMC was doomed when the started putting commercials and moved away from old movies to new movies. They seem to be doing well.

Great points, this show started out relatively big budget but has gone low rent recently; won't stop me from watching, I am hooked bigtime on this show.

I'd find it comical if in the end, the folks at Terminus aren't cannibals at all because that is all everyone is talking about the past three days.

I read somewhere at one point there was a thought to do an entire episode revolving around the soldier Rick shot inside the tank in Atlanta. He was part of a squad that went to Atlanta on a mission and one by one, they got picked off until he was the last man standing and he died inside the tank, the episode would start with him dying inside the tank, then ending with Rick shooting him as a Zombie.

They were also going to work some of the characters in who were in the RV camp, sort of a here's what happened in Atlanta once the outbreak hit.

Man would that have been great, too bad it did not see the light of day..............and they should do more flashbacks to show us some of the characters and what they were like before the **** hit the fan..........

Its a great show, I agree. Am totally hooked. My Sunday nights will be blah for a while.

Most of the outdoor scenes and many of the indoor scenese are shot in and around the Atlanta area, my understanding. There are websites which show a location as it really is, and then as it appears in the WD. For instance Newnan High School was the location of the hospital where Shane and his doomed accomplice went to gather medical supplies. Apparently the "farm" is somewhere in So Atla/Ga but is not clearly identified anywhere for fear of attracting hordes of fans. I was amused to find that the "CDC" episode in Season 1 was actually shot at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. Thats a place I drive by all the time, as its right across the street from my gym. Aint never seen no zombies ...:)

I never forget to record the WD because I set up a "series" recording so that it automitcally captures each new episode. You should check to see if your DVR system has that feature. I always wait until the show is about 20 minutes in before i start watching. That way I can scoot thru all the commercials and up still being done right around 10pm.
