Walking Dead, Season 4 (1 Viewer)

I like the new season to this point. Keeping it simple. Killing some zombies. Looking haggard. So far none of the characters has filled the most annoying character vacuum left with the demise of Andrea. But the younger blonde girl who is always carrying the baby and looking depressed has potential. I would like to see Daryl get a little more of the storyline and maybe add a couple of good character actors. The new actors have been fairly bland since they knocked off Lew Temple. They are mostly playing the role of the guys in red shirts on Star Trek.

I believe this opens up the demise of Carol's character..She has become Shane - lite, where the ends justifies the means. She has arguably killed 2 humans, Rick the cop knows it. Rick's morality will now be tested as to her fate. Whether he tells Tyreese or brings her before the council, my guess is that her time is mumberd. He may have to discretely put her down since her executioner's actions now become easier with each human kill. I say Rick takes her on a mission and does what is necessary..Michael

Did she kill them first then burn them or did she burn them alive?

Judging from the amount of blood that was left behind on the floor and ground, from the cells to the burn location, she must have killed them first. I wonder how the character shift she is exhibiting is going to play out with Darryl. He seems, or seemed, quite fond of her. -- Al

Nice bit of work with the crystal ball. Rick did do what was necessary, as he saw it, but I think there will be problems once the group, and especially Darryl, find out what happened. -- Al

My guess is Carol becomes the focus of the spin off series that is in the works.

Really you should look at the Daryl-Michonne thing. As to the prediction, I used to watch stuff ,telling myself I could write a better script. It made sense after Carol was revealed to be the killer. Before the murders ,I never suspected her..So I am not so much a genious as I imagined..:redface2: Michael

Sooner or later they're going to have to leave the prison or at the very least find out whose planting all the dead animals along the fence-line.....and then there's the 'Governor'.

They definitely need to develop some new character/s now Carol has departed.^&confuse

The whole Carol thing is el bizarro; right before they head back to the prison, Rick basically tells her thanks for telling me you killed those two people, but everyone is going to be upset when I tell them you did it, so you can't come back with me, so she says ok, gets in the car and drives away?

And those zombies are good at gardening, this whole thing went down what, three years ago or so and all the houses in the neighborhoods don't have overgrown lawns and shrubs out front?

I don't get it; just go back to zombies attacking and eating people and we're good to go.................

I'm pretty sure I heard on Talking Dead that the timeline is 1 1/2 years.

I occasionally wonder why the zombies need to eat if they are dead and can't starve to death or why they don't eat each other or even themselves. It's then that I realize that I could use another beer and the show gets much better.

Tonight's episode, Internment, was a real rip-snorter, one of the best I've seen in a while. Zombie Massacre! The whole situation came close to going down the tubes. This whole prison setting still makes me claustrophobic. They gotta get out of there. Then again, there is that ending... -- Al

Agreed, one of the best episodes in a long time, plus now one eyed Willie is about to get involved again.

Needless to say, they've got to get out of that prison, I'll give it another 4 or so episodes and then they are gone.

And isn't it ironic regarding Carol that in the real world if you kill someone, you get thrown into prison, but in zombie world, if you kill someone, you get thrown out of prison...........^&confuse

:)

I found the first 10 minutes a bit boring, and was on the verge of turnig the TV set off ... Then............. great
Don't like very much the {sm0}

Considering the way those with the zombie flu were dropping like flies before the medicine was brought in, those two would have died anyway.

Not sure what would be worse; getting eaten alive by a walker or dying from the zombie flu. The zombie flu looked like a slow and painful way to die, getting ripped to shreds by walkers is also painful, but quick...........

Timing is everything. A flat tire on the way back from hunting the medicine and ol' Glen gets a splitting headache along with the other flu victims. -- Al
