Walking Dead, Season 4 (1 Viewer)

I believe this opens up the demise of Carol's character..She has become Shane - lite, where the ends justifies the means. She has arguably killed 2 humans, Rick the cop knows it. Rick's morality will now be tested as to her fate. Whether he tells Tyreese or brings her before the council, my guess is that her time is mumberd. He may have to discretely put her down since her executioner's actions now become easier with each human kill. I say Rick takes her on a mission and does what is necessary..Michael

Michael ,

I believe the difference between Shane & Carol is clear...Shane had killed in cold blood , people who were not infected nor a threat...
Carol killed two people who were spreading an illness & if she did nothing were 100% going to be walkers in mere days...Her decision even though it did not stop the spread of the illness was one that had the greater good at heart...A tough decision & cold , but one that had to be made...On a lighter note was able to meet Jon AKA Shane recently...He is a good guy & happy that Walking Dead has afforded him his present oppurtunites...

There it is. Can quit waiting for the other shoe to fall. It fell big time and the Governor is back and ready to roll. Things are going to get ugly. -- Al

We're 48hrs behind you guys in the US, with the next episode screening on Tuesday night. Sounds like the Gov'n is back with a vengeance with murder on his mind. The sooner he gets what's coming the better I say.{eek3}^&grin

Yep, the Gov is back and a bigger POS than ever.

He's a changed man alright.

Wow.

This series has become so predictable; so much for him fading away, it's going to end the way everyone I talked to said it would and what a shocker, the next episode is the mid season break, guaranteed nothing will get settled next episode and we'll be left hanging until the series starts up again.

Wasted another hour of my life watching a one-eyed horse's rearend. George's right, predictable ... and now bordering on tedious. :rolleyes2:

He has a TANK now.........^&grin

I thought it was great episode and certainly a few unexpected parts. Looking forward to next weeks cliffhanger.

Yeah, that tank might just negate the Samurai sword and crossbow, not to mention being the ultimate gate-crasher.:rolleyes2: -- Al

That's nuts, why stop there. How about a big Russian helicopter gun ship along with a few suicide-bombers just to even the odds.....what are the producers thinking...{sm2}

Remember that the military was heavily involved in the fight against the zombies. There have been at least 2 episodes that involved tanks as part of the show. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that a National guard tank or two could be in running condition. There is quite a bit of military equipment scattered around in the wake of the zombie apocalypse. -- Al

Good point Al,^&grin I just can't see how the prison will stand up to a tank, but maybe that's why it's been introduced? To get them to leave and get back on the road again.

Maybe someone could accidently on purpose, run-over the Gov'na using the tank......wouldn't that make a nice ending. Better still, he gets trapped under the tracks and a hungry wee zombie comes along to have nibble{eek3}.....I can see it now.{sm4} couldn't happen to a nicer fellow.

cheers toddy

Now that would be an excellent example of karma.:wink2:^&grin -- Al

RUSSIAN gun ships in the US would be weird. But an American tank? Not so much. Especially as Columbus Ga is just a short two hour so so drive from where they are right now.

Columbus GA is home to Fort Benning, "home of the infantry" and according to wikipedia: "home of the United States Army Maneuver Center of Excellence, the United States Army Armor School, United States Army Infantry School, the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (formerly known as the School of the Americas), elements of the 75th Ranger Regiment, 3rd Brigade – 3rd Infantry Division, and many other additional tenant units." 120,000 troops are based there.

Thus I suspect there would be more than a few spare tanks lying around. The biggest problems would be ongoing maintenance and fuel. But until zombies learn how to fire anti tank weaponery (never) Id sure use a tank as my primary mode of transportation.

I liked the episode. The scene of the governor looking down on the zombie he trapped under the water was all you need to know. Its not like the guy harmed him in any way. The Gov is just a psychopath -- charming one minute, torturing you for eternity the next. I have to believe he has earned the most gruesome of endings. Given the horrificness he has delivered to so many, that is saying something. Just getting eaten alive, thats too kind a fate for the Gov.

What a bloody massacre. Terrific show but what a roller-coaster. More main characters down the tubes. More everyone down the tubes. Jeesh. Did I mention it was a massacre? On the road again. -- Al

The writers got me good on this one, never been so angry and then a few minutes later so happy involving a TV show in my life.

Brilliant on a number of levels; that said, what a shame to lose character X (no spoilers as some may not have seen it yet)..................REALLY going to miss character X.

Where do they go from here?

Is it February yet?

I don't think very many people in that kind of world would live to old age.Did you see the preview of a AWI show called Turn;America's First Spy Ring.Suppose to be based on factoral events, coming in 2014.
