Over the years my WAN collection exceeded 250 figures including many multiples. During the last eight months I re-organized my collection and made four separate dioramas depicting engagements from 1882 to 1885.

On the Diorama section of this forum I have posted more information and photographs of these.

You have some great setups there Jeff,

Well done,

John

Awesome and inspiring, Jeff. Brilliant, classy dioramas. Thanks for sharing, Joe

Thanks to all for the positive comments and the likes - much appreciated! :salute::

Jeff

You've really built some beautiful dioramas. Full of action and well placed figures. The Camel Corps figures are my favorite figures that I never collected.

Steve

Wow, they are very good. I like how you have hidden the bases and cut off some of the bases on the dead.
It’s such a good series. Fingers crossed they will make some more in the future.
Like you, I purchase the boat from the London show a few years ago + the TM mat.
Not cheap but worth it. It was fun just taking the time to get it out of the box with the straps and put the box back together.

Hope you don’t mind but I’ve added a few photos of my boat. Can’t resist any chance to show off this series, even though they are not arranged as historically accurate as yours

Glenn...Jeff...2 of the nicest Sudan displays I have ever seen...you both must be very proud of your collections!

The dead Fuzzy Wuzzy's and the Egyptian officer in blue firing the pistol are actually Martin Enry collection figures.

I’m not familiar with the Martin Enry collection figures. I’ve looked online but can’t find any info. It would be nice to see some close ups of them. I assume they are retired.

Great collections and nicely displayed from this interesting passage in history. Congratulations Jeff and Glenn. Regards Greg.

The dead figures in my dioramas I converted from the W Britain falling back wounded figure.

Somehow I missed this one earlier. THe terrain and hidden bases are outstanding. I have the boat but had to put it away due to space limitations. I never used it in a dio like you have done. Really impressive series. Chris

The WB river boat was one of the best releases which I am very glad to have purchased since changing hands, they need to go back and bring out quality and unique affordable items like this

Yeh the gunboat is amazing. If i collected these figures i would have bought it for sure

Fantastic diorama. It captures so much action on land and water. Well done

I’ve made a new diorama and also modified another which I have also posted on the Diorama section of the forum.

The 42[SUP]nd[/SUP](Black Watch) Regiment at the Battle of Tamai 1884.

This new diorama has just over half of the Black Watch figures repainted. The red coated figures from the TEK range now have grey and the Royal Artillery set is from the Zulu series repainted for the Sudan. I replaced the lightweight 7pdr gun barrel with a modified one (made from different diameter drinking straws and putty) to suit a 9pdr. As usual some of the wounded
Hadendoa were converted by removing the bases.

Jeff
