"War Park" New Brand 1/30 figures - Kharkov LSSAH (1 Viewer)

More never ending WW2 Germans, I know that they sell as that is why they are constantly being produced, but I do hope this new maker will produce some Great War and other era figures and not just the standard boring standing , kneeling , laying down firing combat figures please. Lets see some behind the lines type poses eg; shaving, eating, sleeping, engineers and the like.

Wayne,

Why not email Hangyu and see if they have plans for non WWII figures?

There are so many wars around world. It is too difficult to take all of them. But we really are doing what you say:shaving, eating, sleeping, engineers and so on.

Great to see non combat figures, I do hope to see some Great War figures in the same vain, I don't begrudge collectors their WW2 Germans as that is what the demand is. I will say that there is also a demand for more Great War figures as well plus other eras to.

I would expect if WB run true to form that we will see a hell of a lot more war park figures before we collectors in Australia see any WB releases

Mark

Agree, I think there will be a War Park SS Company before the release of the WBs figures.

Looks like figures have been delivered to a US collector and photos on Hobby Bunker forum.

Mine are scheduled for delivered today but unlikely to pickup till tomorrow.

Early opinion if you like WB figures these should suit you.

So war Park up an running and the delivery time more than acceptable actually quicker than coming from US

Already helped the Singapore folks to make the orders and one batch should reach Singapore today.

(With regard to the size issue diversion, please take that discussion elsewhere. Start a new thread if you will. Compatibility of this brand was already discussed. Compatibility between other brands should not be discussed here. For whatever selfish motivation or self centred reasoning that you chose to keep ranting on and on about it on this thread, can you please stop and it will be very much appreciated. Go start a new thread on it)

Chris,

I can appreciate your comments on size issue but Post 102 made by Hangyu clearly shows that War Park have brought up the size comparison into this thread already.

My comment was just passing on what was published elsewhere.

I wish I could post photographs here.

Have received my figures to day and extremely happy they look much better when displayed on a snow base.

Have done and posted a Diorama on another forum those who have ordered them won't be disappointed and delivery is quick by DHL

My figures arrived today and they are excellent, firstly on delivery, packed very well and they took 7 days to arrive from China to England. They look excellent, I would say they are closest to First Legion, they do work with Britains and T Gunn. Not so much with K & C, but then I find not many other manufacturers do work with K & C [closest I would say are some T Gunn], as I do find K & C more caricaturish than other manufacturers, but K & C are about 70% of my collection so please do not take this as a critic on the figures, they are just a big bulkier.

They work well with my First Legion and Eagle Design winter figures and tanks.

I would strongly recommend the figures and have asked to be kept up to date on new releases. I will be buying more, together with Eagle Design I have a new manufacturer that will be taking my W Britains funds.

Great to hear you you and Aussie Mark have received your figures so quickly and are pleased with them. Would be magic to see them displayed with any Eagle Design vehicles when members get a chance.

I'm more of a non-combat figures fan these days, so looking forward to seeing their next batch, hopefully later in the year.

I want to thank all those taking the time to update us all about this new company too and their experiences dealing with them.

Cheers.

Evaluation: War Park works very well with WB....Only OK with FL but within a accepable range

Could you post a photo of War Park figures side by side with a WB and FI figure; that would answer any size and style questions.

I just did that^&confuse....Both those photos show FL WP and WB side bt side: see Posts:#115 check photos.....The WP figures work perfectly with WB.... not quite as well with FL but also within a "somewhat acceptable variance" IMO....It's hard to predict and make a blanket statement at this point based on 4-6 WP figures.....When more figures are done by WP without heavy snow parkas I predict that they might work better with FL but right now these 6 figures are almost a perfect match with WB Winter Germans.....The Facial Skin Tones on the the WB figures is a tad dark but OK (not great but not terrible) ....The faces on the WP germans are scuplted better then both FL and WB ....Overall the quality and PRICE make these figures a definite "Advised Buy" for 1:30th WWII collectors who are interested in Eastern Front Kharkov :salute::

Thanks for the photo; but you do not identify which figure is by which company in the text of your photo.
