Already order the Tiger I. Is there the air recognition flag and the antenna

An outstanding set of releases, Warpark need their own thread on the forum.

Everything looks great. But I wonder how accurate the PzIV ausf G would be in this configuration.

In general 1943 is used as beginning of dark yellow on German AFV. Production for the G began in 1942, but sideskirts were added early in 1943. Maybe some were painted ordnance yellow and did not get the sideskirts, but the chronology seems a bit tight.
Beautiful model though!

Not sure specifically on turret #715, but plenty of surviving Panzer IV Ausf G tanks were repainted in camo for Kursk. Not all of them received the field upgrade kits for the sideskirts either. This configuration is perfectly accurate for the Kursk timeframe. Plenty of pictures of repainted tanks without the skirts exist.

If you paint over the LSSAH division symbol this tank also works for the Italian theatre in 1943.

Man, WP is really making some fantastic war machines. I'd enjoy seeing a photo of the Tiger's road wheels and tracks. I know they'll look great but just curious to see them. WP does tracks so well. It's just exciting to have a new manufacturer in the hobby,

Joe

A repainted older Early G (F2) is a possibility. Although I associate with Kursk a two camo look with base yellow and red brown more than this three color scheme.
As for Italy, LAH was sent there after Kursk so it could represent a vehicle added to the panzer regiment at that time...
I never say never... the moment you say never, an image shows up... but I don't find it to be a distinctive combination. Although it looks amazingly beautiful.

I plan to paint over the LAH division symbol. It doesn’t really work well as an LAH tank anyway, so why try shoehorning it in. LAH Panzers didn’t carry the division symbol at Kursk and the number style is wrong. At both Kursk and during/after the refit in Italy they were still using just outline numbers with no infill.

But if you paint over the division symbol the possibilities open up, and you can use it as a surviving G that was repainted. 2.SS Das Reich, 5. SS Wiking, 11. Pz.Div, 7. Pz.Div., etc. come to mind. You’d potentially have to play with the number style a little or re-number it, but lots more possibilities open up.

There’s a movie of a Grossdeutschland Panzer IV at Romania in ‘44 that didn’t have skirts mixed in with Tigers and Panthers so that might work too.

Were they painting over the division symbol back in the day btw?

The camouflage on the Panzer IV is sublime. Anyone know what price and delivery time is?

Katana, I agree the Panzer IV looks great! I’ve got the earlier grey version, but this looks too good to pass up. They are currently available and priced at $285.00. I’ve got one on order from George at Minuteman Toy Soldiers.

If you haven’t gotten a War Park Panzer IV yet, they are a steal for the price and include features ranging from opening hatches to rolling metal treads. No interior though. Still, they’re certainly one of the better detailed and functional tanks in 1/30 scale.

Did I hear 11th Panzer and Grossdeutschland? My, oh my!

Likely I'm going to pair the War Park Camo Panzer IV, an Eagle camo Panzer III, and a future War Park Camo Tiger together for my Kursk display.

It will likely be 7. Panzer Division and s.Pz.Abt. 503 Tigers. My second choice is either Grossdeutschland or Das Reich.

I’m thinking something along similar lines using the new War Park camo Panzer IV, the JJD Stug III, and what seems a very probable camo Tiger I from War Park in the near future 😎

I hate to double post, but I received the War Park camouflage Panzer IVG earlier this week and it’s a beautiful tank 😃
The spare track links are metal and flexible (they’re same as those used for the tracks on the vehicle itself) and I love the little bucket accessory. No issues with gun barrel droop either. The tank seems a good fit for a spring/summer 1943 setup on the Eastern Front. Here’s a few pictures of a couple different setups - one with the War Park Grossdetuchsland figures and BMW motorcycle as well as the other with some First Legion Stalingrad Germans.

I totally agree with you. I received my AX003 two days ago along with AX004 Tiger I. Both nicely done.

Here are a few pictures of my Tiger I with crew, tank riders, et al . . . . .
