WAR & PEACE in Vietnam (1 Viewer)

Fortunately for us, Wayne, we have an excellent young photographer ‘in-house’ who works with me on all our photographs...It makes a major difference!
All the best,
Andy.

It certainly does mate he must be good he makes you look half decent lol joke joke

Love this one Andy, in my view one of your best so far this year!

Looking forward to seeing your new LR on that dirt road sometime soon too.........:salute::

The Vietnam War is/was one of the most important conflicts of the post WW2 period...As one who lived through that time, but did not take part, I have always been fascinated by the subject and the participants both military and civilian...

AS a K&C range it has provided myself and our sculpting team with a wealth of creative opportunities and some challenges too!

Mike,if you decide to ‘jump-in’...I can assure you, you won’t regret it...
C’mon in...the water is decidedly warm.
All the best,
Andy.

Thanks Andy, I think it was the addition of the M14 armed figures that put me 'over the top'-keep 'em coming !

Heres a little unknown tale by a participant,,Having a month in the Ocean side town of Vung Tau,,R&R center for both sides no doubt,,getting to know things a bit,,The bars etc downtown ,were mostly owned by Americn civilians,,employed by contractors like Pacific architechs and Engineers,,the staff,,female etc were part of the package,,making a great deal of money all the way around while we foot traffic made next to nothing,,Oh yes including a$1.45 a day ..hostile fire pay,,
