Thanks Timo!

I'm still in awe of your own excellent depiction which you showed us last year and your updates, which I hope you will keep coming.

Hopefully I'll have time for my next scene this weekend, still a couple more scenes to do for the 16th June 1815 before I move on.
Steve

Thank you, always nice to get compliments !

Bossu Woods on the Western side of Quatre Bras held by Belgian /Dutch troops until the pressure of the increasing infiltration by French troops trying to outflank the allied position was too much and just in time British Guardsmen arrived and took over and held them, until they steadily pushed the French troops back.
Figures Britains and Kronprinz.

My second to George's comment, the overhead shot of the square is brilliant. Great scene with so many figs. Your use of the vegetation in your recent pics is great. Great series, thanks for posting. Chris

Great scenes...really like the angles of your photography...this one is excellent !

Thank you

Steve, these get better every time and seem so realistic. The over head shot of the square is still my favorite but some of these are right up there with it. Great job. Chris

Chris, Tom, Ivanhoe & Chris thank you for your comments.
Many thanks to you all for the likes.

Your use of scenery and groundwork has really brought the fighting in the woods to life.Very realistic.Well done that man.

Steve,

Just catching up on this thread of yours. You've done an incredible job with this entire dio.

I appreciate all the work you put into the detail. The set up is quite inspiring and I hope to feed off of your creativity.

Thanks for sharing!

The Belgian-Dutch troops holding Ney at bay on the 15th/16th June allowing Wellington to reach Quatre Bras had just been unnamed troops to me until further reading revealed them to be Prince Bernard of Saxe-Weimar's Brigade of Nassau troops and so with that information and figures by W Britains, I've added another scene from the 15th.

Blucher and Wellington meet.
Wellington having satisfied himself that there was no immediate overwhelming threat to the Dutch-Belgian troops already at Quatre Bras early on the 16th, rode taking some of his staff and no doubt an escort, on along the old Roman road to meet Blucher near Ligney where the Prussian troops were concentrating.

Vive l'Empereur !

French assaults of the Allied positions at Quatre Bras used the tried and trusted method of the Column, but now with a many more skirmishers than usual.
What those brave French troops who had faced the British before knew all too well was line a wave hitting a sea wall, the surge of the Column would break against the British line.

Back on track now, figures WB (couple of paint modifications) and Kronprinz.
