I understand the reluctance to do a Pacific series. A test of the waters might not hurt, though. Two sets, say. CS could do a release of a set or sets to stand on their own, say a Marine MG team (Basilone or Schmid) with a set of Japanese soldiers as adversaries. Two sets and if they don't move fast, well, I'm sure they would all sell eventually as 200 or 300 sets of each is just not a huge number. If they move well, then expansion could follow as you see fit. If expansion isn't deemed feasible, at least the buyers have bought a viable vignette. US Marines done in the dynamic CS style would be something to see. JMO. -- Al
I like the idea of character figures, include Basilone, Leckie, Sledge, Phillips, Gunney, Skipper, etc. just off the top of my head. But different figs released at different dates; in different clothing, poses, etc. I'd like to see one company do several poses of one person at different stages of a war/battle.
Also for Band of Brothers, Winters, Malarkey, Nixon, Spears, Lipton, Bull, Shifty, Roe, etc. Same for them, different poses/figures for different parts of the war in different battles/scenarios.
Heck, while I'm at it, all the above for Saving Private Ryan.
I know the movie tie-ins would require the copyright license, so may not be feasible, maybe worth a look into.
It may be more financially capable to do vignettes from artwork of the Band of Brothers. Keith Rocco/Conte/Britains, Don Troiani/Conte, Dale Gallon/Britains for example have all turned art into figures. So maybe this could work for C.S.
Here's a link to Valor Studios, they focus of Band of Brothers art, you can see the artwork and the artists, maybe a collaboration between the artists and your company could do something together.
