Dear Collectors,

As you may know, our Flakvierling will be launching soon and we are in the final stages of production. I am showing you for the first time the master paint sample where we have given it a winter weathering as realistic as we can to the real thing. However, I would like to hear your input before we go into final paint production. What do you think? Do you think the weathering is fine, or should be less? Please keep in mind Figarti has always weathered more realistically with all of our products but when it comes to "winter", weathering is tricky and I thought this may be interesting to discuss and get input on the forum. We will go into final paint production in 72 hours, so any input, comments, opinions would be much appreciated.

Rick

Yes, please!!!:D
Perhaps some more mud/dirt on the floor. Shell casings would look fantastic scattered around.

Rick, really like the piece, but as I have previously posted, I,m tired of winter items.
I will wait until the other version comes out.

Hi I think it's far to much white wash for me.You may be right about it being close to the real thing but I would like to see more Grey coming through.Simmo.

I'm a new collector with the least knowledge...this should be considered when reading my response...I think it looks very well...if anything the pictures from distance look like the rusty looks a little more red rather than the red/brown I would expect...though the close-up's look near perfect. I would like to see more sagging dripping rust lines from hinges on the trailer sides and around the windshield hinges. I would think less white on the sides of parts as well with tops showing more white. The seat cushions appear to have been mastered (awesome). I also think those tracks would have splattered alot of mud on the trailer...not sure how this would look or could be accomplished? By the way it is a beautiful set!!!

More gray with mud & slight dusting of snow. It wasn't always snowing during the BoB. Snow eventually thawed. You have more diorama options with less snow dusting

Hi Rick,

By no means am I one who can give you valid feedback on a such a model. However, I do want to say I am extremely impressed with the fact you have asked qualified collectors to provide you with their thoughts, perceptions, and opinions prior the the actual production of the model I think your actions speak loudly to your desire to produce a quality product that will please a vast number of collectors. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Yep some empty shells on the deck and thats it looks hot now dont fiddle to much just get it made so i can grab one, well done Rick + co.........:)

I really like this whitewash. It has that applied with rags and brooms look. The deck plate looks good as well. I would tone down rust everywhere else.

I think the winter camo looks superb, really nice and this vehicle as a whole looks great.I agree with Frank in that you could take the rust down a bit as there does seem quite a bit,but don't eliminate it all.Excellent work Rick:cool:.

Very nice model. Looks a little too uniformly white when looking at the overall shot. Think I'd want to see more grey as well. The application of the whitewash is excellent, just seems like a fair amount of it.

The weathering looks fantastic, as real as anything I've seen in the hobby. I, however, would rather have a summer or desert version.

Hi Rick,

I love it as I like the winter sets. I would like a little less rust. Will there be a driver? I think the trailer is a great idea.

When is it going to be released and what is the expected price?

Thanks for the great work.

Gary L.
