Picked JJD "The Hunters" up on E-Bay as well as the WBritain Native swinging the gunstock war club. I found the Longhouse on Ebay while searching "diorama Longhouse" I'm thinking of scrubbing it down and maybe making it a little darker. I may even add a thicker bottom to it to make it a little higher.

Hi John,
Sent you an e-mail with the link and a pic of the referred rifleman.
No dog and he is not an infantry as in the pic you two are discussing, he is a 95th Rifles wearing the traditional green uniform.
Cheers
Luiz

I followed that link, but it wasn't show :(

BUT I have found it on an Art Girona site, and listed under Miniaturas Benito
http://www.art-girona.com/serie-mv-...ante-del-43-de-inf-ligera-la-coruna-1809.html

Can't see the dog, nor the 2 rifles ??

John

I along with many of the contributors to this service are fully aware one of the figures in this set is a rifleman, from what was then The 95th Regiment of Foot, (The Rifles), and I am not aware of anyone claiming differently. The figure being carried is in this case, painted as a line infantry soldier from a regiment with yellow facings.
When the old 95th was taken out of the line, post the Napoleonic wars and became The Rifle Brigade, that number remained dormant till in 1823 and given to the newly created 95th (Derbyshire) Regiment of Foot.

Yours Aye,
Douglas

Luiz,

I didn't get an email from you ???

But check out Post 3254 on the previous page of this Thread, and you will see the figures I painted …. 95th Rifles and 27th Foot (Iniskilling Regt).

John

Some great figures from John Jenkin's "Armies and Enemies of Ancient Rome'' series.

I've had my eyes on K&C's now-retired "D-Day '44 Canadians" for some time. I was able to acquire them off members of the forum and am happy to be adding them to my collection.

Two additions to my Conquest of America line came in today :smile2:
There is AZ-20 “Demon of the Dark", Aztec Tlacochcalcatl, and CQ-05 Sword and Buckler Man, Spanish Conquistadors.
Both beautiful figures. As so often, with various mfrs, the promotional photos don’t show the figures to their best advantage. They are a lot better when seeing them eye-to-eye :wink2::smile2:
