What Toy Soldier items Have You Acquired in The Last 2 Weeks ? (2 Viewers)

Good onya Toddy, the AK Kubel is a fantastic vehicle, so much so that I purchased two!

Tom

Lucky bugga Tom......I'm still searching for the long retired AK truck, amoug many other similar retiree's.......I don't suppose you've got half a dozen hidden under ya bed mate...{eek3}{sm4}:wink2:

I just picked up K&C MG015 "Advance to Contact". To me it's one of those classic K&C sets of figures (of the 3 or 4 man variety) that they used to do. It seems that single figures are the way they are headed for the future, I guess due to the new higher prices.

Forgot to mention, picked up BBA035 Winter MP Motorcycle as well. Still have many, many K&C retirements to go still.:smile2:

It's all good Tom mate........I was being a bit of a 'cheeky Kiwi' implying you had stacks of TS stuff stored under ya bed^&grin.....I do kick myself though for not picking up an AK truck when they sold for $79US back in the day. Do let me know if you do come across one that doesn't cost the earth.

Cheers....'da cheeky Kiwi'

Just purchased a supply of Civil War Limbers and Caissons from a dealer named "March Through Times" Tel. 775-323-4070 located in Reno, Nevada. These limbers and caissons are by American Souvenirs and are in cast metal (all movable parts). Scale is 54/60mm. What I did to modify them for my dioramas was spray prime them and paint them; then I added a Firing Table to the inside of the ammunition box lid, and finally added ammunition shells made from 1/8" doweling in a 1/4" high inner wood frame (to simulate cushioning).American Souvenirs Limber and Caisson 2.JPGAmerican Souvenirs Limber and Caisson.JPGUsed a Britains 54mm figure and a Del Prado 60mm scale figure next to the finished piece to show compatibility. The Limber and Caisson are separate purchase items. This dealer also has an array of other artillery pieces to chose from. Price was very reasonable at $8.00 for each piece. PS. Used a Britains Artillery piece for color matching.

Yesterday I bought two figures that look exactly like the Royal Marine officer in this picture: $(KGrHqJ,!o!E9c7bl4yvBPcWY9r!9!~~60_35.JPG

Lots of plastic.... returning to my childhood of Marx, Lido, MPC, etc. Just acquired a partial lot of Ft. Apache with Lt. Masters, Rusty and Rinny, Zorro, Capt. Gallant, Roy Rogers and of course a Disney Davy Crockett at the Alamo. The last 20+ years of collecting metal has come to a screeching halt, except for a few figures here and there. HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.........

Just received the next piece of the Kraal by WB

20102 - "The Bayonet" - Fight for the Kraal, British 24th Foot and Zulu Hand-to-Hand Set No.5

Very nice it is as well, looks great with the MZ piece.

I just picked up these two from Aeroart. I love them both. I love the detail in the flag of the Russian Noble (this isn't the best picture)
