I got 2 of the new K&C Napoleon in Egypt figures, Standard Bearer and Soldier Drinking, thanks to Howard in return for 'services rendered' with painting jobs for him.

Wonderful figures, looking forward to getting more of them, and I love the new ones that have been recently shown in COLLECTOR #30

Tonight Martyn. Didn't get home until late last night :(

eBay finds, a couple of old Stadden castings of British cavalry from the Seven Years War, a dragoon and a horse grenadier of dragoons. They're on the bench, undergoing clean-up before painting.

Prost!

For me it was the Collectors Showcase Hitlers Office. Although I am a dealer and get in many items this was one where I knew I would be keeping the last one for myself. Since I collect leaders it is a great display item for them.

Sounds like there have been some great sets acquired by many of you. I too have made a couple of finds and was given some sets by my wife and kids for fathers day.

Found in a very cool store in Paris, a pair of CBG Itanlian Berglesari from around the first war. Amazing casts and painting.

Received 3, 13th Light Dragoons from the Crimean War Series and also was given a winter limited edition set from 2003 The Highland Regiment Preparations for New Years Day set. My wife has a very nice foot locker that holds onto many treasures!

Acquired this 23 days ago(they're not really soldiers-but they very well could have been ex-spent some time in the Cavalry?)

Gentle Friends,

I, too, received a very nice Father's Day gift from my wife. It is a very fine set of William Hocker Imperial Durbar figures (1877 Durbar.) Specifically, it is set #148/29, The Emblem Bearers of Cutch. If you will excuse my less than professional photography, you may view a few photos of this set below. I hope you enjoy seeing the figures.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :smile2:

What are all those sticks for?
-Sandor:salute::

They are for the corral. According to the underside of the box top:"The Stockade[sic] consists of four 4-hole corner feet and twelve 2-hole side feet, about 45 short upright posts and 90 long horizontal bars".

All present and accounted for(set from May OTS USA Auction).
