What Toy Soldier items Have You Acquired in The Last 2 Weeks ? (3 Viewers)

My last acquisition was at the weekend, I got a Pewter Victorian Fireman, in pristine condition. I will post a pic for two reasons, firstly because this is one of the best Pewter figures I have ever seen, and secondly I hope someone can tell me the maker. The only place not pristine, is the felt on the base, and this is where the maker's name was, I can just see some faint Gold writing, but can't actually make out a single letter. The total height (including base) is three & a quarter inches.
I could have put up a post in another section asking for info, but in what section???

I saw this Britains set and was able to pick up the complete boxed set up for $14.95 ! I had these type of Britains ceremonial figures over 40 years ago as a kid.When I saw the life guards it brought back memories and couldn't resist.

The Latest purchase i had made in the last 2 weeks are the six Takeda Calvary from the Age of the Samurai Range and the Germanic Warriors from Glory of Rome of First Legion.

Another Britains British Ceremonial Regiments Set. I think I will soon have enough for a parade ! 6 piece boxed set from the early 90's for $14.95
You just can't beat it .

You will really enjoy them......mine are from when I was a kid (30 plus years ago ) and now and then I still add a set here and there....:cool::rolleyes:
 
Lone Star Germans Group 11 Restored.JPG

Aquired via an e-Bay auction. They were "paintless" when I got them. So a bit of restoration and creativity in MS Power Point for the backing card was required, I'm pleased with the results thaough. I've got some original Lone Star Anzacs on the way.

Just picked-up a mint K&C war torn Reich Chancellery entrance for just US$90 and WS35 to go with it. The Fuhrer is looking a bit grim as he contemplates his very limited future.

I also added Red Army figures from K&C (RA016) and First Legion - RUSSTAL016 Russian Carrying Comrade. There's a Berlin '45 diorama in all this eventually.
 
Just picked up a Figati Sherman bulldozer from a forum member. It's an excellent piece by Figarti
and my first Sherman as well.
