What Toy Soldier items Have You Acquired in The Last 2 Weeks ? (2 Viewers)

This beast another classic FIGARTI vehicle.

Some very nice additions you have there. How do you like the Russian Gun ??? I have been looking at it for a Berlin scene.

PA,

It's one of my favorite pieces thus far. Very weathered and detailed and the crew pieces are some of the best released by Figarti.

As far as a Berlin scene I don't know if it would go since it has snow cover on it.

Picked up these two Britains sets off of ebay last week. Only 12bucks each...some people... :cool:

oh Yes, I was thinking of doing a mild repaint to cover over the white.....{sm2}

First time in a while I've been able to pick up some figures. I got a selection of the TG 95th Foot. I've been keen on a good range of this regiment (the Britains one didn't do it for me). They're a touch big compared to my K&C Naps but I love the individuality of them, which really suits the ethos of the regiment.

Was able to get these Hiriart Camel Corps sets from Mike/UCLA1967. Great additions to my growing glossy collection. Chris

To get a new set and add it to our collections is fantastic....to purchase them on a cast stage, do historical research as to the campaigns they took part, what Regiments were on site and then decide what they will look like when finished is even more challenging and exciting......more even so if you:

(1) Fortunate to tap into a situation where casts are still sold.....With all this China mass market stuff, getting nice casts or ask the casts to be set in certain fashion are as rare as a Dodo bird...
(2) If you have the painting skills.....Great! Better still if you have a friend who has the skill.....you keep the friendship flowing, discuss with him on the outcome of the project and see the final master piece!

Attached are samples of my last acquisitions that came in as un assembled castings and my good friend Obee applied his master skills and gave them life!!
