I also am a great fan of the Staddens and have had the opportunity to buy some......Too bad these are no longer easily available.......they are great artwork with a level of accuracy hard to see a match.As a matter of fact they make great match to sets from more modern manufacturers such as Little Legion, Colonial Heritage.....See that thet are next to them and they are complementary....
Since I focus on Empire Building ..... here are my British samples....

With the great help of John ( Obee ) I now have these great Staddens in my Victorian Regimental Roll up....these 21st Lancers are fantastic and the level of accuracy and detail cannot be found in the current versions sold by modern manufacturers.....My best estimate is that these are 40 or more years old......
