What Toy Soldier items Have You Acquired in The Last 2 Weeks ? (2 Viewers)

Here are some items I picked up at the MFCA show (a little more than 2 weeks ago, though).

First, two sets of Frontline's Prussians, courtesy of George Guerriero:

and

Yes, even with a mustachioed officer! I'm betting that if Prime corrects this in the future, then these will be worth more ;)

I also found another Stadden casting for my Seven Years War collection, a British dragoon:

These are relatively hard to find these days.

And finally, still in the Stadden theme, I bought this factory-painted 3-figure vignette:

It depicts General Seydlitz sharing a bottle of wine with two cuirassier troopers. Here's the factory stamp:

There's some paint loss, but it was still worth it to me, because of the history of the maker. I don't have any other factory-painted Staddens in my collection.

Prost!

Brad,

Those factory painted Staddens are a real find. Next time I go to Bob's house I will try and get some close-ups of his Stattens for you.

I picked up four sets of the Frontline Figures Prussians at the West Coaster in March. They had resin samples/examples of the Austrians and Russians there. Did George have any of them for sale?

Hi, Mike, no, the Austrians and Russians aren't available yet. I think the targeted release is in the fall.

These will go well with John Jenkins' Prussians, too.

Prost!

Thanks Brad. If I go to Chicago this year, maybe they will be available by then. I don't have any John Jenkins' figures, how do they match up size wise with Frontline?

I walked into the shop to get a figure or two and walked out with Britain's 'Death of Ponsonby' and 069 Lancer. I also got Conte's NWF Gordon Officer with the flag and the rescue duo. So 6 figures in the end, three of which are mounted. Now just have to pray that my wife never works out how much they were.......

Martyn,

I love your 20th Bengal Native Infantry sets. I don't believe I have ever seen them before. I am also blown away by your display of 40 plus Cameron Highlanders. Boy, do I wish that Trophy was still in business!
