Lovely Gun Team Mike :salute::

Cheers

Martyn:)

Thanks Martyn. I also have a similar gun team from Hiriart that I picked up a couple of years ago. The only other Alymer sets I have in my collection are from their American Revolutionary War line. When the original company went bankrupt in the 1990s and was taken over by the workers, the quality of the painting went down hill very rapidly.

Rec'd the KC Tomahawk today.

Nice Beau Geste sets, Konrad; they do nice work, don't they? I almost beat you to them on the Treefrog sale, but I stopped at picking up six other BG sets which I posted here earlier. In any case, I already have the Tirailleurs Algeriens from Hiriart and also have the Belgian Congolese on order with them. My set will differ in that it will include a Belgian flag and total nine figures.

BG stuff is great. I have a few. I will get them out for this thread. They're like the top of the line to me for gloss.

Very colorful Konrad.

Hi Konrad,

Congratulations for a wonderful purchase! You already know how much I love the Beau Geste figures, and, as usual, your newly acquired figures are truly outstanding. I am pleased you have begun to collect Ana's figures. I think you will find them to be "keepers." :wink2: I simply cannot include enough of them in my collection.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

I was in the Milwaukee area yesterday, so I stopped at the nearby Toy Soldier Shoppe. There I satisfied my weakness for French soldiers.
I picked up two figures from the La Vie de Napoleon line by Black Hawk:

and one of the First Legion 18th Line Infantry:

Hopefully, my wallet will not suffer from futher damage.
