Hopefully John won't mind I used WB, Frontline, KC and FL figs to complete the battery complement. I wanted to show his wonderful limbers in action.

Brilliant Chris. Gun batteries are one of my favourites in every era. These look so good on mass. Robin.

I used to be an outside sales rep for WW Grainger, my boss was Paul Dilger, I asked him if he had any descendants who fought in the ACW; turned out he was the great grandson of Dilger whos battery performed heroically at Gettysburg, he had no clue.

On one my trips to Gettysburg, I took photos of the monument to his battery on the battlefield and put them in a nice frame.

Can't believe he had no clue that was a relative of his.

An outstanding display Chris in every regard imaginable. Well done sir :salute::. Those JJD limbers are fabulous aren't they. Caissons are on their way . . . I have two pre-ordered myself.

Thanks Mike. Preparing counter battery fire to your Reb artillery. :wink2: Chris

Chris,
Great scene of soldiers rushing/grunting to get the guns ready and mounted command coming on the battlefield rallying/shouting orders.

Chris,

Man, you hit it out of the park with this one!! Great staging of the figures and you achieved a seamless background too!

I love the multiple artillery horse teams. Lots of action going on here.

I was just at Gettysburg in August and saw this monument. Great stuff!!!
