Where I live.... (1 Viewer)

Harry, I just got to thinking about you sneaking into the museum and getting accused of espionage and then I started wondering about the whole communist country thing. I know China has really loosed up (evident in your pics) but is it like living anywhere else now days or one wrong move and you'll be working rice patties till the end of your days with out anyone knowing what happened to you?

One of the things I have enjoyed about this forum is the folks from all the over the world that are members. Occasionally we get glimpses of their part of the globe from pictures they post like; Harry on an Oil-rig or in China. It is so beautiful in the "Old Dominion" today that I thought I'ld post a few pics of where I live here in the New River Valley of Southwestern Virginia. I hope many of you follow suit so that we can all do a little "Globe Trotting".

LOL - time for the Claymores mate  :D

Never thought of that! Now, lets see here, just head down to the local military surplus store and WHAMMOOO!!!! An effective deer defense! I was however considering setting up a blind, and staying out there and spray them with a garden hose since it isn't deer season!

Interesting, I have heard they can be aggressive! Here is an idea for your

deer situation. My daughters next door neighbor has a deer fence. It is

quite interesting it appears to be four lines of black rubber coated line about

2 feet apart and about 8' high. It really don't obstruct the view since you can

easily see through it, and the black seems to blend in. It keeps the deer out

of his property. Daughter has the standard 8' wood fence and since she is

surrounded by woods the deer just find a section and blast through it like

gang busters.

We haven't had them swimming in the pool yet.......be we think its

coming!
