View from the front porch

View off the back deck. The farthest Mountain is the home of Mountain Lake where they filmed "Dirty Dancing". Through the gap in the foremost ridge, behind the copse of trees, is where the New River flows through. This is my neighbors farm in the picture.

Ron, I have to confess I thought you got those photos out of some garden magazine and were waiting for a few compliments before saying you were kidding and had tricked us good

Your garden is truly amazing and a credit to your efforts I guess it's partly the reason why you don't post on this forum as often as you used to. My garden is very neglected and your fine garden has inspired me to get stuck into mine.

I really enjoy my garden - great place for a drink & a cigar after a hard day of lobbying The weather in Washington has been very unseasonably mild - usually we have 90-100 + days in July - not so - very wonderful weather thus far - which means more time in the garden !

Wow. Thanks for posting the great pictures Sunyi. I don't think I've ever seen that many apartment buildings in my life. Do you ever get lost and go to wrong apartment? I think I would.

I have lived in the region is low density, only 628 apartments,.There are many apartments, but a small population, each family usually only three.
China's north is still a small population of the region, in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Guangzhou will be more population.
I learned how to own home will take a long time.

Like Ron, I have a special place in our garden to relax after a hard week of work right under the trellis overgrown by grappes (3rd pic on the right hand side) where I can enjoy a nice cigar and Armagnac looking at the garden and listening to the soothing sound of our fountain...
