Ha! Wife would say what pressures?? But you are correct, I love to go up

and mull over the next project, or grand scheme!:D Why just last week I came

up with this idea for a round thing that would help move heavy objects.:D

John I'm amazed by your collection. You really seem to have some of everything. I never tire of seeing photos of your collections. Thanks!

And Ron your garden is wonderful. The shot that I really loved is the one below. Who is the gardener? Is it you? Another side to the fellow who collects and travels everywhere. :)

Thanks Russell, over the years I have picked up lots of interesting items. It
all started with comic books and Lionel trains!:D I still remember putting the
first Virginian Fm locomotive on my desk and wire rack of comics in the corner.
Over the years it has really been a fun ride, opening that latest box, or discovering that hidden treasure in an antique shop or at a flea market. Its always an adventure.

A few years ago I was at a show when I came across a hugh engine tender along with three original unique Lionel boxes. The fellow wanted $100 I think we agreed on $95 and I paid him. A moment later a fellow rushed up to buy the items......but it was to late. He had run off to another dealer that sold guides and took a few minutes to varify what the item was.....those moments cost him the sale. I know the top items in quite a few different fields so I can make a quick decision when seconds can count.

Now here is a funny addition to the story. As I am walking away I open one of the Lionel boxes and see about a dozen small envelopes with the number
700E on them they were all empty parts envelopes. I go over to the seller and tell him these were in the box.....to be nice. He gets excited and tells me they weren't part of the deal. So I say "How much would you like for them"? He tells me he wants another $100 for the empty envelopes!

People are really amazing sometimes, I give him his envelopes (maybe worth $10-$20) and walk off with my Engine Tender & 3 Original Boxes worth maybe
$2000! What could he have been thinking???

Russell

YES - I am the GARDENER ! :D

I planted every single pot and planter in that Garden and laid out the design as well constructed each water fountain. It was hard work - but, in the end a great place to relax.

My Dad taught me about gardening and have always enjoyed working with plants - very relaxing. On the weekends I go check all the plants and my wife goes around and prunes each pot - something we do together.

It is a wonderful stress reliever and nice extention of the townhouse.

Ron, I have to confess I thought you got those photos out of some garden magazine and were waiting for a few compliments before saying you were kidding and had tricked us good

Your garden is truly amazing and a credit to your efforts  I guess it's partly the reason why you don't post on this forum as often as you used to. My garden is very neglected and your fine garden has inspired me to get stuck into mine.

Hi all,
I live right now in the suburbs of Philadephia, not far from valley forge. But I am in the middle of moving to Elgin South Carolina. Move will be soon.
