I'm starting this thread as I'm greatly interested in this range coming hopefully in 2019.If anybody gets any kind of scoops, info or pics please post here.
Mark

I've never had more anticipation for a new line of soldiers like I have for this one.

Here's a couple of pics of what might be the first sculpt.

Mark...

thanks for opening this thread...
I'm also interested in this range and will follow this thread for new info and releases...

I knew you would like this Mike,What Texan wouldn't ^&grin
I know you get some insider news so keep us posted unless JJD asks you to keep things to yourself.I know a manufacturer who lets me know some things but to keep it to myself at least for awhile.
All the best,
Mark

Well … :rolleyes2: … I am not sure I can really go that far (JJD WWII Planes an BH sets, for example) , BUT this is one new range which I am really looking forward to.

As many know, I am big on the FIW <-> AWI <-> War of 1812 eras.
AND … I have multiples of JJD's RSF Indians …. LOVE Johns Indians ...^&grin

This new range should blend in real well with the FWI - AWI and RSF sets.

BRING THEM ON JOHN.

I haven't been collecting very long and my limited purse puts restricitons on what I can purchase, lol. Plus, I'm not into the World Wars or Napoleonics or any of the wider produced ranges so I hardly ever have much to get all that excited about when it comes to new releases. I was pretty excited about JJD Battle of Saratoga releases though. :)

We have an oral rule that if he tells me something...
I have to keep my mouth shut...
but if you email him...
and ask questions...
John will probably give you some guidance...
he's excited about this series...
he's also very nice to collectors...

Unlike Larry, this range may become my favorite JJD range to collect replacing my current favorite WWII carrier planes . . . . I attended the Chicago show and saw the prototype of the first sculpt, I believe to be of a mounted Crow or Black Foot . . . very impressively done . . . I too will follow this thread . . . .
:smile2: Mike

I’m committed to the Conquest of America line, like all in 😉
But depending on the prices of monthly releases, there’s a little extra allowance 😀

So, while I’m not looking at this new line for completeness, most certainly there will be figures which will be “must haves” 😁, starting with the mounted Indian, shown at the recent Chicago Show.

Really looking forward to seeing what this line will offer, and most positive that it will not disappoint!

It gonna be good 👍

Thanks for this thread, Mark!
Will make sure that I get back to it whenever I get attached to the subject.

I'm sure there will be some great figures coming out. JJD seems to get better and better sculpting,he is really world class.
Mark

I totally agree, Mark.
Saw the Drums Along The Mohawk figures at the MFCA show last March, and the sculpting sure is on a most advanced level.
Whatever John will be releasing in the future, I rest assured it will be top quality.
It’s an exciting time for JJD collectors 😉

Thanks for starting this thread Mark. I am another one who is looking forward to this new range.

Much like Larry, I think there may be some figures from this range that will fit into the 18th C (or at least pass for it).

As Konrad stated, JJ's products are top notch and I can't wait to see what he'll do with this range.

MIKE? MIKE? …. say it ain't so ….{eek3}
The whole world is now turned upside down … is nothing sacred …

The sun comes up .. the sun goes down .. the tide comes in .. the tide goes out .. John Jenkins make WWII carrier planes .. Mike buys them!
DON"T upset the natural order of things!

Next thing you know George will turn against the NE Patriots and embrace the NY Giants and then build an alter to the Yankees … {sm2}

Larry . . . . perhaps I will have two favorite ranges . . . How about Whiskey, scalps, and salt water landings?

Larry...
you're right on most of that...
but I think you're waaaaaaaay off base on George...^&grin

I look forward to this theme that can encompass the American and Canadian west. John’s sculpting of Indians in a scene of life as the west grew, depicting 1850’s thru early 1900. Could include the Yukon gold rush with NWMP figures.

Don. :smile2:

I think you might be stretching the time period a little to far. The fur trade peaked in the early 1840's with a change of fashion in hats. After which the rendedazvous came to an end. Mountain men continued to roam the Rockies for some time after that, but brigades of company men were no longer profitable.

Guess it all depends on what John decides to include under the title of this interesting new series.

Most of the time period is the 1820's-1840's would probably be called the golden years but really you can say it started when the Louisiana Purchase was completed.
