Who Really Killed John F. Kennedy (2 Viewers)

LBJ was known for his corruption and wheeler dealing as a senator....Who knows for sure how "directly" involved he was in JFK's assasination???....He hated Jack Kennedy and especially Bobby..... but one thing is certain in my mind...He knew who pulled it off and was very likely in complete approval with the good olde boys who did the job....Oswald was the not so innocent fall guy and Ruby silenced him....Oswald never fired a shot in Dealy Plaza.

Hilarious stuff!

What is really hilarious and incredibly naive (stupid) is that some people believe the Warren Commision Report that Lee Harvey Oswald's "magic bullet" from that (junk) manlicker rifle was the only gun that went off in Dealy Plaza......Believe whatever you want or what you are told to believe or taught to believe ..........And Yes... you are right about First Legion...They RULE baby

I so appreciate the nutbaggers of the world. They sure do make it a more fun place. Lol

First Legion? I said FL - meaning Fruit Loops....

I was 10 years old when JFK was shot and I have been listening to opinions, reading books, watching docs, and hearing experts for 50 years and the only thing I know FOR SURE is that I have no idea who really killed JFK. One day I think the lone shooter theory with Oswald as the trigger man makes perfect sense and is the only logical answer. The next day it strikes me that Oswald couldn't possibly have pulled it off and conspiracy is the only logical answer. Currently I believe in Occam's Razor. Until someone, somewhere, exposes a conspiracy, with solid proof and evidence, and NAMES, I will simply accept the least complicated and believable theory for which evidence exists: Oswald did it. Maybe this means I am naïve, maybe gullible, maybe even stupid, but it is an answer that is supportable. But I am not convinced, just tired of not really knowing. -- Al

A good defense attorney can raise some doubt about anything. No matter how compelling the evidence. This case has been examined from every possible direction and a lot of misinformation and complexity has been introduced where none exists. There are some oddities, but you would almost expect that when you examine an event like this in such detail. The basic evidence, however, is fairly straightforward and compelling. Oswald leaves his wedding ring and most of his money with his wife on the morning of the assassination. Something he had never done before. He carries a long package to work which he claims contains curtain rods. No curtain rods are ever found and his room already has curtains. Oswald's rifle is found on the 6th floor. Bullet casings matching his gun are found by the window. His prints are on the boxes around the window. He has no alibi for the time of the shooting. Witnesses describe someone matching his description firing the shots. Workers on the 5th floor in the window below him can hear him working the bolt on the gun and firing the shots. He flees the scene within three minutes taking no apparent interest in the events. This despite the fact that we know he checked out books on JFK and political assassinations. Of all the employees of the Book Depository, Oswald likely had the greatest interest in history. But he shows no interest in the assassination. In fact, he claims not to have even gone outside to watch the motorcade with his co-workers which is why he has no alibi. We know he had previously attempted to shoot General Walker with the same rifle. He leaves so quickly that he doesn't bother to get his jacket at the Book Depository, but returns to his boarding house where he gets another jacket and pistol. He has a cab drop him off several blocks from the boarding house. He shoots a police officer in broad daylight in front of many witnesses. He sneaks into a movie theatre without buying a ticket. He resists arrest and attempts to shoot another police officer. He shouts "it's all over now" when they approach him. He lies about owing a rifle even though there are pictures of him holding it (he even signed one and his wife confirmed she took them). The bullets and bullet fragments from the JFK car are consistent with bullets fired from his rifle. I don't think there would be any doubt about his guilt if this crime involved anyone other than JFK. Even most conspiracy theorists now accept that Oswald must have played some role. Perhaps even as the shooter. The only legitimate question is whether Oswald had anyone supporting him. I haven't seen any such evidence. I do think many government agencies did a CYA after the assassination either because they had not done their job and kept track of Oswald or maybe they had contacts with him to determine if he was a spy and didn't want it to look as though they should have known he was dangerous.

Ahhh, sweet reason and logic, so compelling. :salute::

Tomorrow being the anniversary, Mike Francesa of WFAN in NY, who is very interested in the Kennedy's and the assasination, is having several people on his program to discuss JFK. Among them are Bob Schieffer, Jeff Greenfield, Thurston Clarke and Robert Dallek.

I believe the first half of his show, which airs from 1 to 630, will be devoted to JFK, the second half to his normal theme, which is sports.

The address is www.wfan.com

For those in the NY area, it's 66 on the AM dial and 101.9 on the FM dial.

Fascinating thread and although I've not read it all, it certainly is interesting reading. Have done quite a bit of my own research around the topic over the years with the help of the internet and other sources.

I came at it from a different angle and wasn't even looking at the assassination at the time, but ended up following the bread crumbs in different directions and ended up in Dallas and then beyond. People believe what they want to believe, there was so much going on behind the scenes at that time and so many working their own personal agendas, that it's no wonder the controversy continues. Kennedy was never meant to win the election and by doing so found himself in the deep in from day one. Despite his best efforts he and Bobby were not popular with the 'establishment' and upset the status quo which ultimately led to their untimely deaths. It's alleged by many that Kennedy's involvement in the Cuban fiasco was the final straw for some, but there's far more to it than that.

Oliver Stones JFK movie is a good start with things but only scratches the surface really. The whole cancer research thing that some of the key players were involved in is also a good place to read up on. Those that take the time to do a little study around this aspect will found it fascinating. Oswald was an intelligent man and not some halfwit nut job that decided to pick up a rifle one day. He clearly was involved in the assassination but not in the way people have been led to believe. He was the fall guy pure and simple and had a good idea what was coming. Did he fire a shot that day, who can say, but he wasn't alone and certainly didn't fire all the bullets that killed Kennedy.

The subsequent police investigation was poorly done and much of the so called evidence wouldn't stack up now-a-days. As for the Warren Commission that was a PR stunt and a whitewash. As I say if you look at the assassination on it's own it won't tell ya much, you need to look behind the scenes and go deep and wide to even start to understand how things developed.......it's quite scary stuff really, but well worth a look.

Cheers!!

A new webcam has been installed giving a live perspective from Oswald's vantage point. The trees along Elm are much larger today than in 1963 which obscures some of the view. If you watch long enough, you might see tourists standing in the street getting their picture taken while narrowly avoiding being run over by traffic.
