Simpson&His Donkey, Like the pics in your reply to the thread ! I like the stepped shelving idea. It allows a lot more single figures to be displayed within a given amount of room.
Hi Chris,
Actually the beach base is not from K&C I built that too, but I appreciate the compliment mate!:wink2:
All the best
Rob
Rob,
I am trully impressed, you could go into business mate! Is the water made with the same Celluclay you mentioned before?
Chris
Careful Chris he has enough to "Gloat"about...................{sm4}
A very clever man don't let his soft posts lead you on he is a ex "royal" Marine..................i mean postie...............{sm5}
Well I am pretty new to the forum so haven't been exposed to any prior gloating, so he can take advatnage of a 'newbie' and gloat a little...but I will bear that in mind for the future and I won't put up with it if it continues!
And Wayne, I bet you would buy one too if he mass-produced them ^&grin

Hi Chris,
I'm afraid my friend Wayne is not going to forgive me for England beating the Aussies in the Cricket again for the next three years!^&grin:wink2:
Thanks for your very kind comments re my beach dio, I actually used tile grout for the sea effect and although it took quite a bit of painting I am pleased with how it came out. Thanks again mate
Rob
Tile Grout, I love it! Has there ever been a better example of British ingenuity!!!
Chris
^&grin
Thanks mate, am thinking of making a couple to sell as you suggested.
Cheers
Rob
Well I am working on a beach landing diorama, if my attempt bombs I could be first in line for one mate!

Unfortunately, Rob used this in error. His bathroom tiles are falling off at an horrendous use after he used Humbrol Gloss varnish to apply them. It's not the first time this sort of thing has happened with Rob mixing stuff up. Like the time he got the epoxy adhesive and the Anusol tubes mixed up. Nasty. {eek3}
