Why I Collect King&Country (1 Viewer)

Simpson&His Donkey, Like the pics in your reply to the thread ! I like the stepped shelving idea. It allows a lot more single figures to be displayed within a given amount of room.

Hi Chris,

Actually the beach base is not from K&C I built that too, but I appreciate the compliment mate!:wink2:

All the best

Rob

Rob,

I am trully impressed, you could go into business mate! Is the water made with the same Celluclay you mentioned before?

Chris

Well I am pretty new to the forum so haven't been exposed to any prior gloating, so he can take advatnage of a 'newbie' and gloat a little...but I will bear that in mind for the future and I won't put up with it if it continues! :p

And Wayne, I bet you would buy one too if he mass-produced them ^&grin

Hi Chris,

I'm afraid my friend Wayne is not going to forgive me for England beating the Aussies in the Cricket again for the next three years!^&grin:wink2:

Thanks for your very kind comments re my beach dio, I actually used tile grout for the sea effect and although it took quite a bit of painting I am pleased with how it came out. Thanks again mate

I look forward to seeing your dio Chris, seeing other peoples work is one of the best aspects of this forum. Keep us updated as how you're getting on if you get chance.

Cheers

Unfortunately, Rob used this in error. His bathroom tiles are falling off at an horrendous use after he used Humbrol Gloss varnish to apply them. It's not the first time this sort of thing has happened with Rob mixing stuff up. Like the time he got the epoxy adhesive and the Anusol tubes mixed up. Nasty. {eek3}

As much as i have criticized K&C and the entire industry,, I DO collect K&C because they have decent variety in there WWII German line,, Also, i like the fact they give updates every month! That is something I can count on! Unlike some other companies, you begin to wonder if they are on another planet!! LOL.

I've been away from the forum for a wee while and its nice to return and discover such a positive "Thread" and some friendly banter{sm3}.......to those who have taken the time to post pic's......thanks heaps!{sm4}

Cheers Toddy

I recently took the opportunity to purchase WS110, WS112 and WS122.

I have had my eye on the unique figures for some time eg the SS trooper with the luger in a riflestock, and the NCO advancing with his pistol at the ready.

It's so much better holding them than looking on the internet or through a cabinet window :smile2:

I'll be back for more.{sm3}

cheers
