Yes, it occurred to me to do so with one of the many small branches I had been chopping off one of the trees in the garden.

Only a very rough hacking away to give the impression to the mind of something alien in nature.
I'm sure if I'd spent more than five minutes on them I could of done something better, though I admit I'm no wood carving sculptor.
But then how far do you go in trying to recreate things that no longer exist, so no real idea of what they would of looked like, as they would of rotted away over the centuries.
