This is another great series by WB, and you present it very well Mike......................Joe

Really like Ken's trenches. These reflect the conditions at the front so well as highlighted by your excellent scene. Robin.

Thank you Robin . . . . I have all 6 trench sections set up on a 33-inch square card table that sits right next to my computer desk in my display area. It's always just to my left as I sit at my desk. I have really been enjoying experimenting with my camera the last couple of days learning more and more of its capabilities. These pics were easy to take . . . . didn't have to move out of my chair . . . .

Mike...sweet...you must have a big basement...your collection is HUGE!

Thanks Mike . . . . My display area is approximately 12-feet x 26-feet. Its in the basement because that's the only place my wife will allow me to have. The sad reality is that I am running out of display room . . .

Thanks Scott . . . . Other than the German WWI Field Kitchen sets, all I have collected are the British figures . . . . They are very well done . . .

Would love to see some photos of that when you have the time. Looks to be a nice collection.

Mike,
Nice pics of a fantastic series. It really makes me want to jump in.

You've a great display there ! Good choice on the figures you've chosen for the scene too.

Knowing what I've read, listening to Dan Carlin's Hardcore History and how realistic you've presented the trenches... I'm going to jump out.

Steve I don't blame you . . . . Life in the trenches must have been just awful . . . . I have a large collection of WWI photos that my grandfather took while over in France (1917-19190 and the one common feature in almost all of his photos is the mud. No wonder we hear so much about Trench Foot and other maladies that these soldiers had to face on a day in, day out basis.

Here's another photo shot from the opposite direction of the trench network . . . . .
