Zach's Collection (1 Viewer)

I've had these guys for a while but decided to take them out and play around a bit -
They are Bob Hornung's Bootleggers!
Not supposed to be realistic, just charming little figures in my opinion

Some figures that I never got around to posting before now. Some were home, and some recently were purchased in Hackensack

This is

It's a small shield of some sort - I'm sure it has a name, but I don't know.

Not exactly, but similar to this:

Here are all of my Maximilion figures. Not a great photo, but you get the idea - all figures are from Aeroart/St. Petersburg Collection

Although the carriage looks crazy, it is based on contemporary renderings:

An Absolutely gorgeous array Zach, and beautifully displayed and photographed as well! Thank you for the lovely image; it's a keeper! Renaissance knights
represent the pinnacle of miniature collecting to me. You have a lot of paint configurations I have never seen. I would love to have a 6432 like yours....it's strikingly beautiful. What an amazing collection you have!!! Thank you for sharing it with all- Joe

Just a fun piece I found online - not accurate, but I liked it

It's a 1/6 scale tin plate US Army motorcycle

This is a small vignette of Cleopatra's Palace. I am not sure who makes the figures, but the diorama was done by Vitaly Puzenko.
All of the walls were hand painted by him - they are not appliques. The diorama base, itself, is what sold me on this one!

Wow! I love the extensive paint work on the Cleo dio! Vitaly's skills have no limits as illustratted by this fantastic composition. That's a great scene. Thanks for the photos- Joe

Some new(ish) additions

Capt. Sheppard Paine - US Cavalry - 1880s . From Series 77. (90mm figure) I am not sure who painted this, but I liked it when I saw it

Washington's Inauguration - This is the National Honor set that was made by Britains. I think they did a good job with this one. Photo isn't great, but Washington looks really good in person. It looks much better with the naked eye then in close up photos

all 4 nice additions Zach...

I especially like the cowboy in the hammock and the Indian and the bison...
that is one ferocious looking bison!

this is the latest vignette I just got in the mail.
The figures are made by Aeroart and the base was done by Vitaly Puzenko

Some additions to my Bassingbourn Diorma :
USAAF 8th Airforce, 91st Bombardment Group, 401st Bombardment Squadron

The first is a hand painted briefcase based on the nose art of the B-17 Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby (the plane represented in the diorama)
The next is a Bombardier's equipment case hand painted in similar style
Both have been painted by Nicholas Gamarello
The last is the wide view of the diorama as it sits in my house

For those who never saw them, Here is the gallery of the diorama:
