Just got some goodies in the mail:

K&C Mrs. Dickinson & Her Daughter (RTA042). I don't collect Alamo but after seeing another member use this figure, I saw great potential for her!

K&C French Foreign Legion Bugle and Drum Band (FLDC35) - I hope...can never tell with these old K&C

Some Trophy figures - waiting to hear back from my experts in the Trophy forum whether this is a set or just random figures

W. Britains ACW Union Surgery Set - to add to my medics collection (31075)

and Lastly whatever the heck these are. They were cheap and made me laugh. If I get really bored, I may paint them...

I enjoy civilian sets also but confine mine to Trophy. Although Hocker makes nice sets, I find them to be a little too toylike for my tastes.

Nice additions to your collection. I'm not completely sure the mounted figure is K & C. May be but not positive. Horse definitely looks to be.

It is K&C's TBM Avenger: Royal Navy Version (AIR040C)
I wasn't familiar with this aircraft in real life, but having now read about, I find it fascinating!

Pres. George HW Bush flew a TBM during WW2. I saw one in Palm Springs and it is a huge plane

and the second is one cool plane (my opinion only)

I picked up a few new Russian made figures. I posted them in the Russian Figure forum. The figures below are all from the regimental mascot series from Caberfeidh Miniatures of Scotland. They aren't the best quality I've ever seen, but I just really like the idea...

These are the busts of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra from Britains. They were available from 1901 through approx 1910. Queen Alexandra is catalog #10. It is unknown what number Edward is. The only known catalog showing them had the corner ripped off and that's where the model number was (that is unless another catalog has been found since). Here you see Edward in both available finishes - gilt and silver, and Queen Alexandra in gilt.
