And now for the magic of K&C Glossy!

The first are two WWII pilots - the one on the right is a Flying Tiger. I am not sure about the other one.
And below them we have the ever elusive Charlie Chaplin! I've been hunting that sucker for a while!

Last for the night -
K&C Sedan Chair (AE001) and Mummy Painter (AE008)
Those two are followed by an advertising piece that Britains made for Johnnie Walker in 1958. I am not sure what the little Johnnie Walkers are. They are metal and have little loops on them. It seems like maybe they were attached to the bottle or something by thread???

I was finally able to complete my collection of the Madame Tussauds figures. These were made by Britains in 1934. This has just become one of my favorite complete sets of anything.

ZB,

I got my Chinese Gate yesterday and marveled at how big it was. For some reason I thought it was smaller...NO it is huge! The pieces are magnificent and I am still on the hunt for the Archers.

Zach...

are they resin on paper mache?

The bottom one is paper mâché from the Silk Road collection and the top one is tin from streets of Hong Kong

ZB,

Thanks brother. I like that King Henry figure. I'm game, and will buy it. Did you ever see the series "The Tudors" oh my god that was good! A must see.

Also, I think it is time for you to get a new security system. All that flaunting of your toy soldiers may get the attention of Kim Jung Un. I heard he loves toy soldiers and put a kidnap order out for Andy Nielsen from King and Country once. He may send some North Korean Boogie Men to steal your collection.

Just saying man,

John from Texas

Today's additions are mainly brought to you from K&C , but there are some other goodies mixed in.

This is K&C SR001: Silk Road Elephant. I had been hunting this one for a while so I am very happy to have it as part of my collection now.

Next we have some K&C Marines. A few paint chips on these guys, but considering they aren't for sale often, I didn't really mind...

And now for some randomness to end the days additions...

This is the 2014 Chicago Show figure from frontline, followed by a set of Edward IV and his bride, Elizabeth Woodville. This was a limited edition of 25 figures made by Royal Express LTD. I am a sucker for all things York so had to have it. Following that is a set of Trophy clowns (I think it is TC5: Clowns Clowning Around, but am willing to be corrected by someone who has a catalog) and lastly is The Last Templar from YZ Soldiers (Seil Figures). This is a new line that Hobby Bunker is carrying. It's a "new company producing high quality "Connoisseur style" Military Miniatures in 54mm. The Figures were formerly sold as figure kits under the brand "Seil" out of South Korea. The figures are hand painted by artists in China. " (language taken from Hobby Bunker).

Were you the person bidding on all those clown sets that Joe Saine had recently (not that I bid on them).

I bid on every single one of them - someone out there REALLY wanted them. I loved them all, but $850 or whatever it was???? Get outta town!
I gave up well before that point
