ZACH!!! stop clowning around and get back to your connoisseur!!!
By the way does that K&C Elephant look as impressive in person as it does in the picture??

It really does. It's not to level of my Russian elephants, but it is definitely a special add to the collection

I bid on every single one of them - someone out there REALLY wanted them. I loved them all, but $850 or whatever it was???? Get outta town!
I gave up well before that point

Fortunately, I never got interested in the clowns, although I did sell a few for Mike. I know that they tend to be rare but I didn't honestly think that they would draw that much interest. However, it just takes one determined bidder to raise the stakes.

I just picked up another piece from John Firth (Beating Retreat).
I put the photos in the JOhn Firth Collection thread if you are interested

Zach,

I know I'm late on this but, I have to agree...clowns are creepy...and yes John Wayne Gacy suited up as a clown. Eeeeks, that creeps me out man!

So, ZB, at night when you get up to get a glass of water or take a leak and the moon light is just right...those little clowns will be staring at you. Laughing at you. Watching you. Night after night...going heee-heee-heee.

I getting eh-scare...buenas noches,

John from Texas

I just picked this up at an auction. I don't know who did the casting or the painting. All I know is that it's Napoleon and it's 90mm and I liked it!

Nice pick up Zach! The sculpting on Napoleon's face captures all the emotions of that fateful day at Fontainebleau in 1814. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Brendan
