Zulu gun limber (1 Viewer)

No I don't as such, but as you say a nice piece (and due to the pressure that my fellow forum members have put me under with their photos! :rolleyes2: ) I knew it would make a fine purchase. I may even get a few more artillery themed sets to go with it. {eek3}

Jeff

Btw, those figures I got you are so nice I've kept them for myself and sent you some Lego instead! :tongue:^&grin

{eek3}

A Lego kraal hmmmmmmmmmm I wonder :tongue:

Here you go, here's mine!

Jeff :salute::

Got to see your photos from a sneak peak sent earlier and had no doubt they'd be shared by you on the forum and nice to see you have done so. Nicely shared by you Martyn.{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Martyn,

Isn't a great set. The center piece of my WBritains collection.
I am waiting to see how Rick tops this set.

I wonder how long before this set sells out. I bet no to long.

I agree Brian, I don't think it will on the shelves much longer

Shoot me now! {eek3} but it had crossed my mind to modify this set to represent a Royal Artillery gun team at the Battle of Tel El Kebir 1882. {sm5} Only 3 years in it so same uniform I assume?

Yep, you'll have to lose the Zulu ^&grin

Cheers

Martyn:)

And he is wrapped on tightly, you would have to lose the trooper too. Just as well not really possible, otherwise I would be considering a second gun. Nice shots Jeff & Martyn, now you have hit Zululand central. Cheers, Robin.

Don't know how I missed the photo of your gun team Jeff very nicely staged. Seems Martyn's along with Robin, Scott an others got you to return to the Land of The Zulus......Joe{sm3}{sm3}{sm3}

Just add pugrees to the F.S. helmets. I believe the gun should be a 13 pdr, but I don't think most people could tell the difference.

Thanks Martin, any idea where I can lay my hands on a 13pdr barrel? :smile2:

Not off hand, I've got drawings somewhere if I can find them! Anyway it was a simple muzzle tube like the 7 and 9 pdr, with a foresight. Obviously larger, I think you could change something like an ACW gun if you don't want to start from scratch.
