Thanks Joe, i appreciate you going to the trouble of posting that for me,very helpful.

This is my feelings, if you want K/C to make something, go to their forum. If we are talking Britains, there is no reason to be touting K/C, and that goes for any forum mfg. On the K/C forum, leave other mfg. out of their discussions. There has been a select few lately, that seem to revel in baiting the respective members of the different forums, into verbal conflict over championing a mfg. against the mfg. that the particular forum represents..Friendly advice...KNOCK IT OFF..and learn to respect the members and the mfg. who are good enough to post here.Michael

Here Here Maddicus!

WBritain, Collectors Showcase and (possibly Conte) have the Zulu War well in hand.

K & C can try the Nile War, Boer War or Northwest Forntier.

Very well said Michael and Breaker enough is enough....The Lt.

Somebody had to say it, and you both said it politely.

Can't we all just get along? :D

I must apologise at this point as earlier in the thread i was talking about my humble collection of Little Legion and Trophy,i had absolutely no intention of diverting the conversation away from CS.As for the set in question it looks very good to me,right in the thick of the action as it were.

We can get along, but the reason we have individual forums is so that we can discuss our mfg. of choice about all things concerning our mfg. of choice. Personally, I think it is not fruitful to go on the K/C forum and say that brand x is so much better. Or to tell CS on his forum that his competitor could do the same period better. It is alright to compare the scale or color palette of similar figures for different mfg. because we might want to combine them ,in a display..But ,of late to call out a mfg. on his own forum and shove a personal pro opinion of his competitors in his face , sounds more like trolling and baiting the mfg. supporters ,to see their reaction..My feelings and we all can produce any number of posts and thread starters on any mfg. forum to support my contention..Michael

You're right Michael,

Designers, manufacturers and collectors are very proud of what they have produced or acquired.

This "baiting" is both unprofessional and unnecessary. Don't taunt a designer about his product and don't goad a collector about his collection.

The deragotory comments have no place for comparisons sake of which is a better figure.

You chose your figures because they "struck a chord" in you and that's the same reason we all chose ours too. You bought them because they appealed to you.

As Joe said, "Enough is enough",

Michael

I think the WB AZW stuff is outstanding and I am very impressed with what I see of CS. If and when K and C produce AZW I will judge that on its merits.

Why you of course are the winner of the Mbonambi wife!

However you should know she:

Comes from two previous marriages and has 12 offspring. In addition, as per tribal custom, the mother and all associated aunts ( 16 in this case ) shall also accompany the bride with assorted offspring. On the upside however, she does come with a dowry of 5 goats, 20 chickens and two snakes.

So a hearty congratulations and enjoy your new life. You shall never want for un-intelligable conversation again!:D

Uhh, how many is that in cows?

It sounds somewhat like my own history to a point.

Brian,

Are these going to be available at the London show at the end of the month?

Jeff

Btw, I have noticed that on the Trophy thread that their figures are portrayed with the white helmet and fittings as well.

I agree with you all and I would not "start" such a discussion. If "baited", as Maddicus puts it, I will respond.;)

I buy my figures because I like them at that moment. Sometimes I like them for a very long time. Others not so long. These make way for more that I like better. Sometimes I have difficulties letting go of old comrades. My pensioners.

Men,
Just interested to see if anyone has gotten the CS Zulu range yet? If so, please post some cool or crappy photos! I'd love to see 'em!
Mike
