The transaction is between buyer and seller on eBay.

He should lodge a dispute with eBay/PayPal (for what it is worth) and demand a refund.

How can you blacklist a member from this forum for something transacted beyond forum jurisdiction ?

Some of us have particular series we collect, or are trying to complete. The eariler sets can be difficult to obtain which explains the prices they can command.

Its all a matter of personal taste.

King & Country has always had a strong secondary market. It is difficult to determine how the current economic situation will affect the entire market in general. If sales slow down, and production doesn't it could seriousl affect current items.

Older classic pieces will probably maintain a high demand.

I have been lucky enough to be warned by other members of the forum about trading with him through the forum, didn't know his ebay handle. If you can't figure it out just think of the most annoying Poster on the forum! He apparently handles his ebay business in the same manner.

I just had a look on Ebay, first time in ages I've done so.

The seller has a 100% positive feedback and it does say on both of his auctions you have a money back guarantee, so perhaps the buyer should look into that.

Oh and I caugh this one; shipping for the jeep is 33.00.

33.00 for shipping a jeep?

Not to mention when I typed in King & Country for a search, quite a few of the items are listed as K & C but are not K & C, plus quite a few items listed as buy it nows are current production pieces and the buy it now prices are inflated by 10% to 20% in afew cases.

And people are bidding over and above retail on some items.

As sorry a state of affairs as this is. As much as I would like to do something to the individual involved there is nothing that can be done on the Forum because the transaction took place on ebay and no rules were broken here. Sorry. ToyKing has taken this as far as he can here and is seeking to address this issue via ebay which is all he can do and if he is smart he will leave feedback the reflects on the character of the individual involved. Again guys sorry that there isnt anything we can do about it here.

If there is collectively understanding here that shoddy treatment has been meted out from one forum member to another, then the nature of that transaction should be made transparent, as well as the identity of both parties involved. Otherwise, the fear and uncertainty created here will affect all other potential transactions on eBay, which is not then fair to the other forum members who trade on eBay.

bought a old arhnem piece from a forum member 765.00 recieved item broke glued back together in four places pieces missing ect.you would think he would do the right thing just wanted a swap out but was told too bad thanks for buying my item this guy is bad for collecting and should not be able to sell his goods on the forum::::this is not right.pm me if you want to be made aware.

Toyking, I'm so sorry to hear that you have been victimized by this evildoer. So it seems that there are no safe places from the predators of society. I nearly entered into a trading transaction with the same guy who ripped you off. I was privately warned by respected forum members to enter into transactions with this character at my own risk. It is nice to know there are many good people out there looking out for us. Unfortunately, ebay transactions w/ this criminal are beyond the scope of the goodness of humanity found here. I hope you discover some form of recourse to recover your loss, and I hope your tainted collecting experience doesn't deter you from the pleasures of this hobby entirely. This guy needs to be publicly called and cast out.
