Awesome, Snow Tiger comes in special box! I wonder if it will be as fancy as the 2005 version.

At least the drive sprockets are painted nice crew and looks a great paint job. Looks to be a great Tiger 1!!

This Tiger is great. Don't know what to do about purchase, though. The price is high and past my set spending maximum. I am loath to miss this winter Tiger as I did the last, but that price is going to be tough to reach and justify. This needs further study. -- Al

That's the problem isn't it. Weighing an item like this versus the Karl Moser, for example, where only one is possible, but not both. Tigers have been made before but we may never see an item like the Moser again.

There are going to be 999 Snow Tigers produced. As popular as this piece will be, it is somewhat expensive and with 999 of them, I doubt it will sell out overnight. 999 is still a fairly large production run

I've ordered mine - from the photos it looks to be the best Tiger K&C has ever done, but IMO not the best set. I think that still goes to the K&C Winter Tiger.

Considering the new Panther is $209, I'm OK with $229 for the Tiger. I was expecting a price closer to $250.

I think your right I think it was discussed about SL's not dissapearing as quickly so, we will have to wait and see how long this one is available I have spoken with a few people today who were worrying over its release the Karl and other bits and bobs especially, with Christmas around the corner.

It was mentioned only the other day about the last two tigers Wittmans and the winter SL sold more than any other set wonder how close the winter and Kursk have come to that? Would be interesting to compare.

Just been looking at 502 Tanks and the paintwork seems to be a good comparison. The crew again make the tank as was the case for the WSS71 SL probably the best Tankers K&C has done for a german AFV.
