For those of you who are collecting figures to add to your Zulu War Collection you can't go wrong with adding Johns Naval Brigade to your collection. Along with the Gatling Gun Crew I've added two addtional sets from Crown Toy Soldiers an will be adding the last of the current sets I haven't gotten. Received the two new sets earlier today.

Please may I ask where you found it?
Thanks

James the diorama base was a birthday present from Ericka an Ken of Hudson and Allens Studios. Ken Osen and his wife Ericka are known for creating and providig a line of outstanding diorama bases and the grass is an exclusive feature provide by them on their diorama bases. Glad you enjoyed the photos they were fun taking.......Joe

It's getting harder and harder for me to resist the Naval Brigade figures by JJD. I don't do Sudan or Zulu but I do like the NB gatling and figures. Nice pictures like these don't help me resist, either. -- Al

Joe

You have found an excellent way to use these figures and they add a lot to your scenes.

Hi Joe,

Nice job with the photography as usual. ^&cool
These are great sets and I have them in my Sudan collection, never thought they could be used for the Zulu War. So all you need now is a few dozen Fuzzy Wuzzies and a Nile backdrop and we will have to call you "Joe Pasha" ^&grin

Jeff

Great pics. The JJD seem to mix very well with your Britains & Conte.
Hopefully John Jenkins will also enter ''The Land of the Zulus'' - He has a great hand at
portraying tribal people, as we can see with his Woodland Indians & Hadendowa Warriors.
Would like to see what John could do with Zulus. I'm sure they would be great additions to many peoples
already impressive Zulu War collections.

Beautiful composition and photography. . Mixing of the different manufacturer's items was flawless. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Jeff, Dragoon Coporal and Ken for your comments. I've taken the liberty as acting as a movie director or screen writer to doctor the actual event that took place in creating this photo diorama.............The Lt.

The only Royal Navy casualty at Isandhlwana was Signalman William Aynsley (from HMS Active) who was attached to an officer on Lord Milne's (the Naval Aide-de-camp of Lord Chelmsford) staff. Witnesses said he was seen fighting with his cutlass bayonet and his back to a wagon. Finally a Zulu crept under the wagon and stabbed Ansley through the spokes of the wheel.
