    Cheers

Thank you Lawrence.Do you have anything new, too? Or do you think about buying any new piece? Republic P-47D Thunderbolt looks very good.

    Lawrence,
Always good to hear from you. I appreciate you keeping an eye out for these sets. I have never seen them on Ebay either, accept the singles you mentioned. Now I just need NE12 and I will have that short run of sets completed. I hope your collecting is going well. Any new acquisitions? I am still collecting a little K&C, but I have found myself more interested in Beau Geste's Deli Durbar line. I have purchased a few infantry sets and they are quite nice. Take Care

    Lawrence,
It is great to hear from you and I appreciate you thinking of me. I just sent Martyn my "trade list" so hopefully he will find a few items worthy to trade! I will keep you posted, but i am excited about the possibility of adding these sets to my Trophy collection.

    Hallo Lawrence
Thank you for your reply. Now I collect everything from King and Country from 2nd World War. I have to say that the company pleases me very much every month and I am sorry that I got to know her only in 2003.
    Regards Mario
    Hi Lawrence,
    great collection,very inspiring and supporting!!!!!!!!
thank you so much Mario,,Czech rep,,
Thanks Lawrence!:) It was a great day, I got two MG Para's from parents, along with a cool cast iron disk sign (circa early 1900's), and WWII .30 cal ammo can. I also learned that I had $38 in credit a Hobby Bunker, so got another para with that, and with all the other money I got from relatives, (along with the $15 I earned working at a school event) I can get about 3 more paras. But by far, the best gift was getting my drivers license! On the diorama note, haven't got anything much more done, as I've been pouring all my money into retired sets, but I'm also working on a MG crossroad scene for the paras (I'll send you some pics later).

    Thanks for the Birthday Wishes!

    Hi Lawrence,
Please add the great photos you have in your album to the Artillery fan album. The IMG0807, 0870 and DSC01046 show great angles of your artillery sets.
    Regards,
    Artillery crazy
Thanks Lawrence, Still waiting to see the "finished product" as the wing is in its third cast. The procedure was tough and the recovery even rougher. As of today, I can feel and move my fingers so at least the wiring is intact this time. Still can not lift a thing yet with it as I am on a short leash for another two weeks. Thanks for the well wishes! I did make Chicago reservations though as the Hotel was filling up! Something to look forward to!
    All My Best,
    Marc
    Lawrence,
Thanks for thinking of me. I tell you some Trophy sets I have always wanted are the Napoleonic Janissary/ Turkish forces sets. I think there were two or three foot soldier sets, beautiful stuff. What Boerboy finds continues to amaze me! Take care Lawrence.

Thanks for your opinion buddy. I know what you mean about trying to stay focused. I collect a little K & C too. I guess I was looking at little legion as a less costly Trophy fix! Thanks again.

    Hi Lawrence

Are the Trophy of Texas figures shown in two pictures in your AZW album, if not could you kindly post pictures when you have a chance?

Thank you for your kind comments about my AZW collection.

    Cheers

    Martyn:)
    Lawrence,
Thanks for getting back to me. Mine have no markings on the right arm. I noticed some of the figures are a bit different, binoculars instead of a spy glass, nothing too dramatic. thanks for the set #. I do like this set. The seated gunner is neat. Hope your collecting is going well. I am lying low as far as Trophy on Ebay, the prices are getting too high for my blood. take care JW
    Martyn,
Decided to take the plunge as I have picked-up a few AZW sets lately. The latest ones included a two-box set, TT24 Heroes of the Drift, which was made for Trophy of Texas. The two boxes had 11 figures which represented all the VC winners at the Drift. The set also included a numbered certificate and a replica of the VC. Apparently, there were only 50 sets made. The other figures were part of another collection that had many old Trophy figures - the ones without the famous TW mark - certainly makes collecting old Trophy an interesting proposition. I will try to add a few more, but my AZW collection pales in comparison to yours and many other Trophy collections here on the Forum. Always admiring what you will find and show us next. All the best, Lawrence
    Lawrence,
My dad wanted me to tell you to say "Hello" back. Yes, my collection is growing, I'm now a full-blown K&C collector, Battle of the Bulge, as I'm builing a 30"X44" Battle of Foy diorama. Definately adding on the new German Cossacks, and making a small vignette with them.
    All the Best!
    Jake
    More great pictures Lawrence:cool:
I was lucky to find my Boer War oxen drawn gun set along with the Naval Brigade supply wagon in December 2008.
    Cheers
    Martyn:)
    Lawrence
    Great Trophy pictures.
    Thanks for posting them.
That is a great Ox drawn artillery set. One of my holy grails
    Lawrence,
Naval gun and oxen look fantastic! Makes me want to unpack mine. I appreciate you keeping an eye out for any Trophy horse artillery. I drooled over yours again. I will do the same for you and the Elephant Artillery. Hey, I hear you about your wife. I will simply say my wife does not enjoy the hobby 1/2 as much as I. Take care
